Shark`s Bay offers some of the best scuba diving in the Red Sea. Their unique resort and dive center is located right on the sea and includes a wonderful house-reef and deep underwater canyon. It is the only resort in the Sharm El` Shiekh area with it`s own private beach and private jetty - making it one of the best places to learn to dive. The resort is located north of Naama Bay, a short trip from the Sharm El` Shiekh airport. They offer daily boat trips to the Straits of Tiran, and are usually the first one`s there in the morning. In addition to the Straits, Shark`s Bay offers daily boat trips to over 20 local reefs in the Northern Red Sea. Shark`s Bay also offers trips to the most famous reef on the Red Sea at Ras Mohammed National Park. This area is simply spectacular. Under the protection of the Egyptian National Park service, Ras Mohammed is the Mona Lisa of wall dives. The reef is located at the southern most tip of Sinai, where the Red Sea splits between the Gulf of Aqaba to the East and the Gulf of Suez to the West. This creates strong currents and deep water upwellings, making Ras Mohammed an exciting dive where you will see thousands of coral reef fish, and large deep water pelagic fish such as sharks, barracuda and manta rays.
