Company description Divers’ Lodge Sharm El Sheikh has been established for three years and is located at one of the leading hotels in Sharm, the Intercontinental Garden Reef Resort. Divers` Lodge Sharm is a PADI 5 star Gold Palm IDC, BSAC Resort Centre and one of the most established TDI facilities in the region. Divers` Lodge offers a comprehensive programme of Recreational and Technical Diving including courses, daily diving, shore diving, special trips, snorkelling and safaris.
One of the best house reefs in the area is situated at the hotel and the majority of the area’s best dive sites are reached in less than an hour by boat from the nearby jetty.
We have recently opened a brand new centre to offer more comfortable and spacious facilities for our guests. Facilities include two classrooms, a guest room, meeting room and plenty of storage areas for your kit. We have a fully stocked equipment room and hire facility. We also have our own compressor on site so there is never a shortage of tanks, whether you want 7, 10, 12 or 15 litre, air or Nitrox.
As one of the largest technical diving facilities around, we also offer a range of quality TEK toys, everything from manifold twin sets (10, 12 or 15 litre) up to a Buddy Inspiration (CCR) Rebreather.
Daily divers will enjoy the facilities of our spacious and comfortable boats with sun decks and shaded areas. All our boats are fully equipped with life saving and first aid equipment and all staff are trained in its techniques. Boats leave from the nearby Sharm jetty.
For those wanting a day off from the boat, we also offer some excellent shore diving. The proximity of the house reef and an on-site heated swimming pool mean that we can meet many different training needs. Mini safaris and liveaboards also add another exciting dimension to our programme for diving further afield.
Divers` Lodge also operates the Aqua Centre at the Intercontinental Resort. Ideal for a day off from diving or an added attraction for non-divers, a wide range of watersports includes parasailing, waterskiing and a glass bottom boat.
Location description: Sharm El Sheikh offers a spectacular and diverse range of world-renowned dive sites. From the stunning Ras Mohammed Marine Park, to the exceptional drift dives of the Straits of Tiran and some of the most famous wrecks in the Red Sea, the sheer number of sites means that there is something in Sharm for all divers.

*The House Reef – Garden Reef
Garden Reef is a popular shore dive for novice, experienced and technical divers, as well as for training and courses. Depths range from just 6 metres, with a sandy bottom that shelves off gently from 10-20 metres before dropping to approx. 65 metres.
*World famous dives at Ras Mohammed and Tiran Island
Divers’ Lodge operates daily boats to Ras Mohammed Marine Park and Tiran Island for spectacular walls, plentiful shark spotting and thrilling drift dives.
The exciting sites of Ras Mohamed are what Sharm is best known for and you will not be disappointed. Situated at the very tip of Sinai, where the Gulfs of Suez and Aqaba meet, this area’s strong currents and nutrient rich waters are packed with snapper, jacks and barracuda.
This is a shark paradise. Stalking the schools of fish are many species of shark including silkies, greys and occasional hammerheads and oceanic whitetips. All this set against a backdrop of stunning coastal cliffs that lead to colossal vertical walls underwater.
The deep waters of the Straits of Tiran are punctuated by a collection of reefs and offer some exceptional drift dives. Once again strong currents and dense plankton attract impressive pelagic, deep sea and reef species. There are also many easily accessible coral gardens with shallow water and excellent visibility – ideal for training dives and gaining experience.
*Dive the legendary Thistlegorm
Sharm is an absolute must-dive for wreck fans. To the west of the peninsula lie some of the very best wrecks in the Red Sea and even the world. These waters are home to the legendary Thistlegorm wreck – a 415foot WWII British supply ship that lies in 30m. Early bird trips offer the chance to explore her amazing cargo of guns, ammunition, trucks and motorcycles. Divers` Lodge can also organise trips to the Dunraven and the ship graveyard of Abu Nuhas.
*Diving further afield
Sharm is a superb base from which to take a mini safari or liveaboard to experience the sheer range of diving that this area has to offer. Technical and recreational itineraries can be personalised to your requirements.
We can also arrange for you to do some shore diving in Dahab. Just an hour’s drive through the beautiful Sinai desert will take you to celebrated technical dive sites like the Blue Hole and the Canyon. The amazing underwater of Dahab makes it one of the top choices for technical divers.
