Company description SDC has started its activities since 1991 in Egypt ,established as the First diving center in Dahab located at El Kura bay, most breath taking lagoon, surrounded by Sinai mountains from N & W, Gulf of Aqaba and Saudi Arabia E, Red Sea and straits of Tiran S.
SDC diving center is owned & managed by Dr.Ehab Tomoum , physician with a vast back ground of diving medicine and one of the pioneers of diving in Egypt SDC staff , started from the beginning till they upgraded and reached Dive master and Instructor levels, Each staff member is a manager of his talent and specialty.
The diving center building is a state of the art , with its surrounding shade and direct access to the sandy bay and house reef . You can sit and relax watching the sea and the mountains , the daily sunrise behind the center & the sunset in front , is a scene you shouldn`t miss . The center is almost surrounded by sea from all sides .
SDC is equipped with all needed equipment for your diving activities , Air and Nitrox diving.
Our diving activities:
*Daily dives:
We plan daily 2 guided dives by jeeps or boat at 9:00am and 2:00pm , usually we come back to center between dives .
For some special requests , we arrange early dives and sunset dives .
*Jeeps dives :
With your dive guide , the jeep will take you to shore diving sites that stretches from Blue hole north to Caves in south of dahab . Open fins and boots are a must .
*Boat dives:
Our private Dive Boat was built for serving the divers needs to go boat diving in dahab in areas that we discovered with Zodiac 8yrs ago. Yes, dahab has Off Shore reefs, still intact and in tip top condition . Visited in good weather, One dive and back, with VHF radio , fresh water shower, navigation lights for night diving trips , GPS plotter . Most dives are within 10-15min by boat trip.
*Night dives
When the night falls on the gulf of Aqaba , Dahab is one to remember , join our regular Night dives to Light house reef and Napoleon reef.We have a special recharging bench 220 volt for your lights & cameras.
Our special arrangements for the night dive is usually at a time later than others .So you have the whole site for you and more chances to meet the real night life activity underwater .
*For non divers , SDC dahab will give you the first taste of diving undersea , together with our Professional PADI instructors , you can join the Discover Scuba Programs or Introductory dives to shallow dive sites . Few basics and a relaxed lecture , Open your eyes , do nothing except breathing and enjoying. Fish , corals & shells will venture out to great you . Don’t miss diving while you are here in Dahab .Share the fun of diving with your friends and family . Snorkling trips aboard our dive boat or accompanying divers by jeeps to actual dive sites.
Based on the concept of encouraging divers at all budgets to dive and visit Sinai dahab –Egypt , we have very attractive diving accommodation packages for students and teenagers who would come in a group or individually to explore the new life of under sea . Egyptian hospitality and generousity comes out for those new divers who have choosen this sport as a style of life.
Location description: Our long day trips:
*RAS MOHAMED , sharm el sheikh , by Cars 7:00am and diving from the shores of Ras Mohamed , early and before the crowds and boats , we take the first plunge .
Shark reef and Shark Observatory are our main two dives target .
With lunch and soft drinks included , you will taste the old days of exploring Ras Mohamed , when no boats where available . Don’t forget your passport & camera .
*THISTLEGORM wreck , sharm el sheikh , gulf of suez , to dive the famous wreck of the Thistlegorm and ras Mohamed . we leave very early to catch a boat from sharm for the whole day .
*Dive the best of Sinai , 3days dahab (2 local diving days) + (1 Day Safari) + 3days liveaboard around Sharm to dive (Thistlegorm-Ras Mohamed-Tiran).
We start in dahab , ending in Sharm depending on your plan .
*Dive the South of the Red Sea , we mean south of marsa Alam , liveaboard 6days , on the famous Royal Emperor metal dive boat built by divers who explored the Red Sea years ago for divers who wants to share the peculiar dives
*Dahab diving and mountains safari :
Special for divers who like to sleep out on beaches and enjoy the million star accommodation . During your week or more stay with us .We arrange a 3days 2nights camel Safari to the South of dahab , sleeping on the virgin beaches , diving away from the crowd . One night sleep in Kabr el bent , one night sleep at Wadi Gonay palms , diving reaches Ras Tantour in Nabq park.
