Company description Our Red Sea liveaboards provide the best of both worlds. Whilst living and sleeping in comfort aboard one of our luxury boats, you have the opportunity to explore some of the more remote and pristine reefs as well as the freedom to visit the more popular sites in the quiet of the night or early morning thus avoiding the crowds.
Blue Planet Liveaboards is founded by divers for divers! This is a company with egyptian management and german office-staff, operating with knowledge and competence, to make your holidays the best days of the year. Our profesional service starts for you at the airport and does not end until the depature.
The Blue Planet Liveaboard Fleet undergoes a permanent maintenance and control schedule. The fleet consists of boats with different kinds of categories as well as standards from just comfortable to luxury boats. We aim to fulfil the expectations and requirements of our guests. You can be sure that our boats have the necessary permits for the respectively offered routes.
All our boats have an experienced, English-speaking captain with crew on board; all of which have a vast amount of experience of boat handling in the Red Sea.
All safaris are accompanied by 1 or 2 English speaking dive guides. All the crew and dive guides are responsible for quality control and are specifically trained in this area.
The safety and comfort of all our guests is extremely important to us.
We work closely with the Red Sea Association (Egyptian environment organization). We feel responsible for the protection of the sensitive ecosystem in the Red Sea, and we observe the laws and respect nature in order that our sport has as little impact as possible to the local marine and plant life. The Red Sea is a paradise for divers and we would like to keep it that way so you will want to return again and again. We therefore kindly ask for your support in this matter.
No matter which route you have selected, the North tour with all the wrecks or the deep South tour from Port Ghalib over Elphinstone Reef to St. Johns or one of the many other possibilities, you will not be able to escape the fascination of the underwater world of the Red Sea.
Whether new to diving or a seasoned, experienced diver there is an itinerary to suit. We pride ourselves in the diversity of itineraries which include both northern and southern Hurghada, South of Marsa Alam and for those of you who just can not make up there minds, we offer a combination trip visiting popular sites from both Red Sea locations.

*North Safari
This is the classic Red Sea itinerary. To the North of Hurghada, the Red Sea splits into two arms embracing the Sinai Peninsula, the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba. The Mediterranean is connected to the Red Sea via the man made Suez Canal that opens to the very busy strait of Gubal, east of Hurghada. The straits of Gubal, being laden with reefs, is consequently the resting place of many shipwrecks.
This itinerary combines the most famous wrecks of the Red Sea with stunning walls, drop offs and reef diving.
