Or to see for yourself the fabulous colours on a coral reef, and all the fascinating invertebrates, crustacea and even meet a sea turtle face to face? Then its time that you tried scuba diving with Aqua Ventures. Safety is paramount and the following measures help us provide high safety standards: The boats carry Oxygen and radios. Supplementary oxygen is available on land, and an ambulance is on standby. The Kenya Navy allows us full, unrestricted access to their 8-man decompression chamber, 2 hours drive away in Mombasa. Steve Curtis the owner/operator of Aqua Ventures heads the team of 3 professional instructors and his wife Helen is a divemaster. The local boat captains and crew are divers themselves and are long familiar with the area & the diving equipment. Aqua Ventures specialises in diving with small groups (4 or fewer) with qualified dive leaders. I.E. quality not quantity! All dives take place in the Watamu Marine Park and Reserve, protected areas where sea-life abounds.
