Company description Welcome to Buccaneer Diving, the only PADI 5 star IDC Centres in Kenya. We run dive schools along the Mombasa coastline, with bases and representation in the Whitesands Hotel, the Voyager Hotel, Reef Hotel, Sun and Sands, Nyali Beach Hotel, Mombasa Beach Hotel and Lesoleil. From these Dive Bases we run a variety of Dive Excursions for qualified divers, as well as teaching the entire range of PADI Courses from Entry level to Professional Qualifications. We also offer free pick up service from all hotels in the Mombasa area. Buccaneer Diving is proud to offer exclusive access to East Africa`s finest wreck dive, the MV Dania. In conjunction with the Kenya Wildlife Service, Buccaneer Diving has created East Africa`s largest artificial reef by way of sinking a 75m decommissioned livestock vessel, the MV Dania. The sinking took place on the 27th October 2001 with the Dania resting at 30 metres. After two years the amount of life on the wreck is remarkable and makes for a fantastic dive. As well as our extensive local diving excursions along the Mombasa coastline, we are also running a lovely family day out Shimoni Dolphin diving trips in the south of Kenya in Shimoni, an area famous for its prolific and friendly dolphins. Diving is done from a traditional sailing dhow. Another of our special trips is an excursion to Vuma Caverns, an absolute must for any serious diver, where caverns, whale sharks, and a host of other splendid attractions awaits. One of the most exciting aspects of diving along the Kenya coastline is the opportunity to see some of the Oceans most exciting aquatic life. Whale Sharks, Manta Rays and Dolphins are just some of these awesome animals. To give you an idea of the sort of frequency that these creatures are sited, we have logged our sitings in the Whale Shark Diaries. Buccaneer Diving is committed to the environment and to educating both divers and snorkelers about our fragile marine resources. We now have a full time dedicated Marine Biologist on staff. Finally!
