Having successfully operated the UNDERWATER CENTRE at the Coral Strand Hotel for over 20 years, we have now expanded into operating DIVE SEYCHELLES (Ex Island Ventures-Dive Seychelles) based at the neighbouring Berjaya Beau Vallon Beach Resort. This expansion will create major synergies to the advantage of guests at both centres: with five custom dive boats we are able to offer you the widest range of diving activities in the granitic islands of Seychelles!

The Underwater Centre remains Seychelles premiere scuba diving operator. With over 20 years of operational experience we will ensure you get the best of diving in Seychelles. Whatever your diving ability we can provide dives and services tailored to your needs allowing you access to the best scuba diving in Seychelles. With our new expansion your choices will be even greater!
The Underwater Centre has also pioneered and continues to support marine conservation programmes, such as the whale shark monitoring project run by the Marine Conservation Society Seychelles (MCSS). This programme allows visitors an un-rivaled opportunity to swim with whale sharks and assist in their conservation.

Location description: Founded in 1976 at the Coral Strand Hotel, Mahe, the Underwater Centre has been at the fore-front of diving in Seychelles for over two decades and was instrumental in the setting up of the Association of Professional Divers, Seychelles as well as the Marine Conservation Society, Seychelles and the Shark Research Institute, Seychelles.
Over the past two decades the Underwater Centre has offered services from a number of bases in Seychelles and has already been recognised as Seychelles Dive Centre of the Year four times. In order to ensure the very best in Seychelles diving, learn to dive opportunities and value for money, we re-organised our operational bases in April 2001.
We are now concentrating on providing services from our PADI Gold Palm I.D.C. Centre at the Coral Strand Hotel, Mahe to give you the best opportunity to learn to dive and to explore the very best of Seychelles, both above and below the surface.
Our professional multi-lingual staff , offer the full range of PADI courses in English, French, German, Italian, Dutch and other languages. Whether you want to learn to dive or expand your diving horizons, we can help you! For experienced divers we have an unrivaled knowledge of local dive sites and conditions and with three dedicated boats we can ensure you get the best of diving in Seychelles.
Our Centre boasts a well stocked rental and retail facility with the latest diving and snorkeling equipment and a superb range of T shirts, guide books and other ``Beach Essentials``!
We can arrange hotel and accommodation packages at favourable rates with the Coral Strand Hotel and can also offer a free pick-up service from nearby hotels!
