Opened in 2005, Scuba Libre Diving Centre is a PADI dive centre. Located right on the Matemwe beach, we run a full service diving centre offering daily dive and snorkel trips, all levels of scuba instruction and quality budget beachfront accommodation. Only minutes away from our doorstep, Mnemba Atol’s reefs are teeming with various marine life like Manta rays and White Tip sharks during summer (Nov-Apr), endangered Grey Nurse sharks and humpback whales during winter (Jun-Oct), plus bull & eagle rays, guitar & wobbegong sharks, turtles, dolphins, octopus, pelagics, hard & soft corals, nudibranchs plus hundreds of tropical fish species.
