Company description We are a specialised incoming Tour Operator, accredited by SATSA and registered with KwaZulu Tourism. Our tours are fully guided with a THETA accredited and KwaZulu Tourism registered guide for
Nature, Underwater Marine and Shark Dive Guiding.
Our tours are for small groups to ensure personal attention and an informed interactive sustainable experience with marine flora and fauna, especially sharks. Likewise with the animals of the African
bush. We can tailor-make an itinerary to suit you. In KZN we can offer an introduction to various cultures:
*Zulu culture.
*Koi San culture in the Drakensburgs or a tour of a Coloured Township.

Our standard or tailor made packages integrate adventure diving and in particular shark diving, integrated with a wildlife safari and an introduction to Zulu culture. Transport is in an air-conditioned vehicle, with comfortable reclining bucket seats, and large windows. We also have specialised trailers for diver’s luggage and gear.
Experience safe and exciting diving laced with the wonders of the animals of Southern Africa. An adventure diving experience coupled to a wildlife safari completes an environmental holiday to remember for a life time.
We have superb shark diving and why not experience Sharkproject-Sharkschool or do a shark diving course (NAUI / SSI Certificated), a life changing experience and unique informed wildlife experiences.
Make your Diving, Wildlife and Shark Safari into an informed and empowered experience by doing a course and going home with an extra diving qualification and a holiday to remember. Diving off South Africa is not typical resort diving. Our coastline can be wild and all boat launches via the coastal surf and therefore resort courses cannot be offered. Most dives are in excess of 40ft/12m.

Also we offer shark diving course. Objective of the course is to respect and appreciate the shark as an animal to enjoy
whilst scuba diving and appreciate the need to conserve shark.Here is a small overview of the course:
*Held on Aliwal Shoal June to November
*Lectures are normally held in our lecture room at Kingsburgh
*Qualification minimum standard: Open Water
*6 hours lectures
*3 dives with shark

Location description: We dive on the famous Aliwal Shoal, Protea Banks, Sodwana Bay, and Rocktail Bay in KwaZulu-Natal and at Ponta da Ora and Mamoli in the Southern Mozambique. Our Wildlife Safaris are in Hluhluwe, iMfolozi and Itala parks (KZN National Parks) which all host the `Big 5`.
*Aliwal Shoal
Aliwal Shoal is most easily accessed from Umkomaas, a much
smaller town just up the coast, where things are pleasantly sleepier
than the bustling holiday atmosphere at Margate.
Aliwal boasts dozens of individual sites, but like Protea, you could really say that the entire shoal is one huge dive site. Aliwal is,
if anything, even more contoured and varied in topography than Protea with caves, gullies, ridges and overhangs, towering pinnacles and huge bowl-like amphitheaters, flat reef plains and current-
scoured surge pools.
The reef at Aliwal is formed by a rugged, sandstone substrate well grown with sponge and other reef invertebrates, interspersed with sand patches. Here, the ever-increasing quantities of Indian Ocean fishes often outnumber the southern species, giving Aliwal a tropical flavor despite the frequently chilly water temperatures.
Aliwal is without doubt one of the finest dives on offer in all South Africa; you`d be mad to dive South Africa without diving Aliwal, and you`d be mad to dive Aliwal once without coming back to spend days or weeks exploring the superb diving both here and at Protea down the coast.
*Southern Mozambique
Diving is good all year round but shark diving in Mozambique is best from October to March and Whale Shark diving December to February. All diving is on reefs within comfortable reach of the launch site. Depths range from 10 to 40 metres. The reefs are varied with a profusion of soft corals. The reef and sand dune vegetation are in pristine condition after a 19 year bush war - though the animal life on land is scarce.
Inland is an amazing wetland. Visas are required and we can obtain for you but need 2 full days notice. As with Sodwana, Mozambique is in the Malaria Belt and the appropriate prophylactic should be taken. Divers should take care to ensure that the prophylactic is diving compatible.
