Company description Commercial Diving School Jack`s Dive Chest Commercial Diving School was registered with the Department of Labour in 1993. The school is registered to train the following: South African Class IV South African Class III Diving supervisors for each class of diver. To date the school has successfully trained in excess of 500 divers and supervisors. All of the divers trained did receive employment in South Africa. Some of these divers eventually made it as divers on the International market. The school is owned by Jack van der Schyff who is also the instructor with over 25 years of experience as a diver and 20 years experience as an instructor. Some qualifications include: 1976 - qualified as a SA Navy diver 1982 - qualified as a SA Navy instructor 1989 - qualified as a Commercial diving supervisor 1990 - qualified as a Emergency Diver Assistant (Medic) 1991- qualified as a NAUI recreational instructor 1998 - qualified as a NITROX recreational instructor
