Company description Dive Aventuras is Mexico`s first PADI 5-Star IDC and Gold Palm Resort. We offer Scuba diving instruction from Bubblemaker to Instructor Development Courses with Instructor Examinations scheduled regularly. We offer scuba instruction in English, Spanish, German, Dutch, French, and Italian. Our multilingual instructors are some of the finest in the Riviera Maya. They have the experience and skills to take your scuba diving to new levels of excitement. For those divers who have been out of the water for a while or simply wish to increase their confidence before diving again, we offer a 45 minute Scuba Tune-Up.

Dive Aventuras is located minutes from the most famous cenote/cave system in the world. Behold the splendor and magnificence of this unimaginable underground world.
Cenotes are caves that flooded after the ice age when the water level rose. They are filled with stalactites, stalagmites, and crystal clear water. Although they are an overhead environment, cavern dives always stay within the limits of natural sunlight and are limited to groups of 4 divers with a guide. You need only be certified as an Open Water Diver to cenote dive and experience the beauty. Our experienced team of Cave divers can lead cave diving tours to those with cave diving certification.
Spectacular caribbean reefs are only a 10 minute boat ride from the marina. One of our four boats will quickly transport you to dive sites that are uncrowded, rich with coral and sponges, and host to over one hundred species of fish. The current here is generally mild, thus excellent for new and experienced divers alike. Scuba diving in the Riviera Maya is also a great place to complete open water referral dives. Our central location, just 1hour south of Cancun, 15 minutes south of Playa del Carmen, and 15 minutes north of Akumal, makes it easy to dive and still schedule time for family and friends Your safety, enjoyment and reef preservation are our main concerns
Our main shop is located in the Omni Beach Resort along one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mayan Riviera. Between dives, join us for a game of beach volleyball or relax at the pool and enjoy the beauty of Puerto Aventuras Bay. Just walking distance from the dive shop are golf, tennis, horseback riding, and much more. Five minutes south of the main dive shop lies the eco-friendly resort, Xpu Ha Palace where you will find the Dive Aventuras shop conveniently located on the estuary where you can enjoy unique dives in the freshwater lagoon or our complimentary transfer service will bring you to the main shop for ocean diving.
We also offer snorkeling trips to several local reefs and cenotes. Choose from a 1-1/2 or 2-1/2 hr. trip that includes sodas and a local guide.
Some of the best snorkeling in the area is right off the beach in front of the dive shop. Rent a set of snorkel gear and take a look. Frequently sited reef inhabitants include Parrot Fish, Blue Tangs, Bleenies, Wrasse, Damsels, Butterfly Fish, stingrays, anemones, crabs, and even octopus. Interested in a night snorkel? Hola Dive Aventuras, I have to say again you guys are super! Everything looks great after Emily, what a great job everyone is doing. The shop and OMNI looks like nothing happened and the remodeling looks great.
And seeing Mike`s friendly face as we drove up to the shop was so welcoming. Renting the car turned out great. Where there is a will there is away.Next time I won`t be so far from the shop.
Because of EM I had no choice. The area is beautiful and has lots to see. Below water and above it is just breath taking.
My friend Toni enjoyed talking to everyone and next time she will complete her dive instruction. We went snorkeling at Akumal and I could not get her out of the water.Now she wants to dive so until next time.

What a great experience!!! I did my four open water dives for my open water certification and am now hooked on diving. The sea life was fantastic, the staff at Dive Aventura was wonderful, and everything about the experience was positive.
It was stormy on the day I was supposed to do my last two dives, and the staff was very helpful in rescheduling to fit in my schedule.
During the dives we saw two stingrays- one quiet large, a large sea turtle, a morray eel, and numerous other wonderful creatures. A great place to dive and to learn.

An absolute wonderful experience diving with Dive Aventuras. I went along as my girlfriend and her 11 year old son did their referral dives. Thanks to the whole crew for all their help, and a special thanks to Luciano for his patience with her son. Thanks to Luciano we all are certified and enjoying local diving.
We just made reservations for a return trip to Mexico, and we will definately be diving with Dive Adventurous again. So to Luciano and the whole crew, we will see you in November!!!!!
And oh yeah, I want to thank the crew for finding and holding my lost U/W camera until I was able to pick it up
