Company description Lobo Del Mar is a family ran and operated charter company in Puerto Penasco, (Rocky Point),
Mexico. The Lobo family offers such excursions as scuba diving, Bird Island Tours, snorkeling,
fishing, parasailing, sunset cruises and sail trips.

Lobo Del Mar offers two-tank dive tours for certified and non-certified divers. Our PADI
Instructors and Dive masters will accompany you on either a dive at the famous sea-lion
habitat of Bird Island, or through the local reefs of Puerto Penasco. We provide tanks/air
and weights/belts for our certified divers. You must bring or rent your own dive gear. For
our non-certified divers we will provide all dive gear, so please don`t forget to send your
sizes, (shoe, height, and weight).

Our Bird Island dive tour departs from The Rocky Point Retreat. (For more info,
click our FOR SALE link below.) We depart from that location as it is then only a 30 minute
boat ride out to Bird Island. At the island you may encounter octopus, starfish, fan
corrals, many types of tropical fish, and of course the sea lions!

Our Penasco dive tour departs from the Penasco Marina. This tour is taken on one of
our catamarans. You may encounter many different types of fish and fan corrals.

If you would like to become a certified diver, Lobo Del Mar`s instructors are currently
teaching PADI Open Water Diver Certification courses. To complete course from start
to finish with us,a week`s worth of vacation time is advisable. You also have the
option of completing your course in two segments; classroom and confined water skills
during your first visit to Rocky Point,then your open water training on your second trip
here with us.

Many students have already completed their classroom & pool work with their local PADI
dive shop and just need their `checkout` dives. Your Instructor may refer you to us and we
can complete your open water training here in
the Sea of Cortez. A referral consists of two days of
diving, and you will need the correct paperwork from
your previous PADI Instructor.
