Company description Welcome to Ocean Sports Dive Center ( Deportes Oceano SA de CV)!
We specialize in diving and fishing charters on the ``Ocean Spirit``, a custom Newton 46 dive boat, the ``El Duque``, a Defever 52 live-aboard dive/fishing vessel,and several ``pangas`` for small diving and fishing charters. For all your diving needs, visit our full service ``dive shop`` for air fills, equipment rental, expert service, and more!
Location description: Ocean Sports Dive Center is located in the Marina San Carlos building next to the Marina Cantina, right on the Marina promenade. We sell and service all major brands of diving equipment and have one of Mexico`s finest air stations. The adventurous diver may choose to visit spectacular dive sites on our ``camp-aboard`` dive boat the El Duque or our 1999 custom built Newton 46 ``Ocean Spirit``. We also have several smaller ``pangas``, the traditional Mexican fishing boat, for small groups and individuals. We can arrange fishing, kayaking,hiking,mountain biking, horseback riding, ``sunset margarita cruises``, lodging in hotels or rental homes........you name it!
The best diving in the area is found at Isla San Pedro Nolasco or ``Seal Island`` as Club Med Sonora Bay has named it (there are no seals in the Gulf, only California Sea Lions). There is some impressive diving to be enjoyed in these parts. Large animals like the sea lions, mantas, whale sharks, and the famous ``schooling hammerheads``.Other quality dive sites are the wrecks of the 300 foot ferry ``Diaz Ordaz`` and the 90 tuna boat ``Albatun``. All these sites and more are easily accessible by our dive boats.
