Company description Created in 1989, the Amedee Diving Club is the oldest professional centre on the Caledonian mainland. Located 10 nautical miles from Noumea on Amedee island, the base of the Amedee Diving Club is set up in the middle of the Amedee Lighthouse Reserve near the Boulari Pass (Great Reef). thanks to its favourable position, the Amedee is the only centre in Noumea to offer day outings with one or two dives. Its new extension in Noumea now allows it to meet specific demands such as organizing half day outings.
Equipment and facilities:

15 complete Aqualung gear sets
40 twelve-litre aluminium bottles
1 motorized 11-metre catamaran ``Cougar`` approved for 15 divers
1 semirigid 6m50 Lomac seating 12 divers
1 MKV zodiac for first dives
Club house will all mod cons of 200 m2 with locker rooms, showers, gear, boutique, restaurant, terrace and library.

1 chalet at the Port Moselle marina
4 Apollo sea-scooters
12 complete Aqualung gear sets 32 ten-litre aluminium bottles and 8 eight-litre bottles
1 semirigid 9-metre Lomac
Staff: 3 diving instructors with State or Padi diploma, 1 freediving instructor.

Prices shown in this catalogue are given in Pacific Francs and in Euros. Prices do not include tax (TSS: 4%). A deposit is required to make a reservation: online payment via secure connection by credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Amex) or by bank transfer.
ANMP/CEDIP centre and PADI IDC 5 star centre, the AMEDEE DIVING CLUB teaches both the French and international schools, with the originality of ``mixing`` the 2 schools for a more varied learning.

All the stages begin with a minimum of 2 people, except of the Divemaster stage.

Diving at the Amedee Lighthouse:
The 10 different sites of the AMEDEE, all situated in the full reserve, guarantee an abundance and variety of fauna. The intact and protected barrier reef offers an incredible diversity and amazes those lucky enough to visit it. The two dives set three hours apart, the facilities on the centre of the island, the comfort of the ``Spanish Dancer `` (11-metre catamaran) make for an unforgettable day of diving.
The Programme:
- 7.30 - 7.45am pick up from Noumea hotels
- 7.45am Rendezvous on the Club Mediterranee pontoon at Pointe Magnin
- 8.30am Arrive at the Amйdйe Lighthouse
- 9.15am Depart for the 1st dive
- 10.45am Return to the island
- 11.45am Meal at the Amйdйe restaurant or personal picnic
- 1.15pm Depart for the 2nd dive
- 2.45pm Return to the island (free time)
- 4.00pm Depart from the Amйdйe Lighthouse
- 4.35pm Arrive in Noumea
First dive AT THE AMEDEE LIGHTHOUSE: for a day outing to a perfectly adapted site, a marine reserve for over 15 years home to shoals of fish. 200 metres from the beach with a depth of 4 to 5 metres from an easy dive platform, even the most ``timid`` make a resounding success of their first trip to the sea depths.
Prices: 8 300 Fcfp - 69.55 Euros TTC, includes hotel pick up, transfer and snorkelling gear for the day, tea and a snack. Meal possible for extra 1456 Fcfp - 12.20 Euros TTC
The underwater DIVESCOPE observatory

The year 2000 welcomed a futuristic device to the Caledonian lagoon called the DIVESCOPE. Submerged off Noumea at a depth of 10 metres, this dive bubble, privileged sea life observatory of the Seiche-Croissant reef, constitutes a unique technological feat. Experienced divers, initiated beginners, you can now enjoy a unique experience in an UNDERWATER HABITAT. In a way you will become an ``OCEANAUT`` capable of observing the underwater fauna at your leisure without being disturbed.
The Programme:
- 7.45 - 8.00am pick up from Noumea hotels
- 8.30am depart for Escapade Island
- 9.00 - 10.00am briefing on Escapade Island
- 10.30am depart for Divescope by diving
- 12.00 noon End of dive to the Divescope for beginners
- 12.30pm Arrive in Noumea
