Company description DIVERS@SEA is a Full Service Scuba Diving Center located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. Divers@Sea is the dream business of founder , Bert Quist. Bert started diving over nineteen years ago and hasn`t slowed down since. Bert is a certified PADI Scuba Diving Instructor who has logged several thousand dives all over the United States and Caribbean.
In 1998 together with wife, Dawn and Scuba dog, Bailie, they opened their shop in Buckhead hoping to fill a niche in the Atlanta area for high quality caring service and customer satisfaction.
Our Mission is to provide our customers with the best personalized service possible. We teach great divers to dive, one diver at a time.

Bert is co-owner of DIVERS@SEA along with his wife Dawn and heads up training. ``This is more than a job or a business! It`s a passion and lifestyle. I realize how very fortunate I am to be able to get up everyday and go diving for a living.

DIVERS@SEA offers a full range of rental equipment. All SCUBA equipment is available on a daily as well as weekly basis. When renting equipment, your pick up and drop off days are always free.
All equipment you rent from DIVERS@SEA is guaranteed to perform to your satisfaction or your money back.
We recommend that all your SCUBA equipment be inspected and serviced at least once a year if not more frequently. We are factory authorized to service and repair all of the brands that are carried in our store.
Expect about a 10 working day turn around on most annual services, in some rare cases it may take slightly longer if a major part is damaged etc.
The purpose of the Open Water certification dives is to ensure a smooth transition from the swimming pool to the open water environment. A total of four Open water Checkout Dives are required in order to qualify for the PADI Open Water SCUBA Certification. (Note: Five Open Water Dives are required for the HSA Open water Certification). Over the course of your Open Water training dives you will be responsible for demonstrating proficiency of the basic SCUBA skills mastered during your introductory SCUBA Diving Course.
We invite you to continue the fun and excitement by choosing to complete your open water checkout dives on an upcoming DIVERS@SEA tour. Our tours are the perfect way to complete the certification process. Checkout dives can be completed on any of our entry-level tours.
DIVERS@SEA entry-level tours have been specifically designed with the new diver in mind. The tour location and logistics have been carefully chosen based on the overall diving quality, suitability for new students/dive training and overall diving value. Our philosophy is quite simple, create a great experience and customers will come back again and again for more.

OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION
DIVERS@SEA`s Introduction to SCUBA Diving Course is your key to the fascinating world of safe and enjoyable SCUBA Diving. This introductory course is designed to teach you the basics of SCUBA Diving, from the safety skills required to dive in a confined water environment such as a swimming pool to the fundamental diving knowledge needed to safely plan your time below the surface in an Open water or ocean environment. In this course you will master all the skills and knowledge necessary to become a fully certified PADI Open Water SCUBA Diver.
After successful completion of the classroom and pool training sessions you will be ready to try your new skills at a popular dive site. The final phase of the certification process is four exciting instructor lead dives.
ADVANCED OPEN WATER CERTIFICATIONS
The Advanced Open water SCUBA course is the ultimate in hands on SCUBA Diving training. You will experience new diving environments under the expert supervision of an experienced DIVERS@SEA instructor. The Advanced Open Water SCUBA Course gets you in the water.
This class provides an excellent opportunity to brush up on your Scuba Diving skills by providing you with the opportunity to experience some of diving’s most popular specialty diving. Diving, Diving, Diving is the name of the game with the Advanced Class. You will try your hand at a Night Dive, Navigation Dive, Deep Dive, plus two other specialty dives of your choosing.
DIVERS@SEA`s Specialty Courses are the perfect opportunity to further develop your diving knowledge and expertise. If you would like to take breathtaking underwater photos, penetrate inside a shipwreck or just know what you are looking at our specialty courses are for you! The DIVERS@SEA RESCUE Diver program prepares you to help prevent, and if necessary, manage diving emergencies, minor and major, with a variety of techniques.
The PADI MASTER SCUBA Diver rating is the highest recreational rating in the PADI program and denotes superior achievement and proficiency in your diving skills.
Certification Requirements - PADI Advanced Open water , PADI Rescue Diver and certification in a minimum of five specialty areas.
