We, from Deep Blue believe that you have wished to dive from the time that “Captain Nemo” was your favourite book. The adventures you have always dreamed can become a reality with PADI (The Professional Association of Diving Instructors) which is not only the biggest of its kind in the World (175 countries are its members) but it is also represented in Bulgaria.
At the beginning of 1999 the first PADI Center – Deep Blue S-3671 was founded in Bulgaria. It is in Sofia. After 700 people passed through the different courses offered by our PADI Dive Center and from ordinary people became divers, a second Dive Center Deep Blue 2 S – 32169 was opened in 2001. It is situated in the Preslav Hotel at the Golden Sands, which is the best Bulgarian Black Sea Resort and a third one Deep Blue 3 S-35030 also opened its doors. It is located at the Sunny Beach Resort.
In 2003 we were the first to introduce the Nitrox diving in Bulgaria as well as the deep diving with helium mixtures Trimix. In that very year we introduced the diving with systems working at a closed circuit (Rebreather). We are the only official representatives in Bulgaria of the World’s largest International Technical Diving Organization (TDI).
The education in our Dive Centers is carried out according to all PADI regulations and your safety is of the utmost importance for us. After successfully completing the course, you receive a PADI certificate. Our centers are also authorized to certificate divers in accordance with all the regulations from the following Diving Organizations: SDI (Scuba Diving International); TDI (Technical Diving International) and IDEA (Instructors Diving Education Association). It is with these certificates that you can dive in any part of the World. The instructors who will be conducting your courses have a diving experience of over 20 years and are the best PADI professionals in Bulgaria.
We are fully authorized to conduct all courses in accordance with the complete PADI requirements and regulations.

TDI was formed in 1994 by some of diving’s most experienced instructors to bring technical applications of the sport to a wider audience. TDI’s library of training materials and texts have become known as the industry’s best and most professional resources. Most importantly, TDI has the best safety record of all training agencies.
Whether your interests lie in nitrox, rebreathers, mixed gas or any of the many other programs that TDI offers you can be assured that you will be participating in training that offers you the ``cutting edge`` of diving technology.
SDI was created in 1999 and grew out of the success of our sister company TDI, which specializes in the more advanced disciplines of dive training.
Both students and instructors have embraced the no nonsense approach that the SDI training system offers. We have streamlined the course materials to let students study the essential academics with a renewed emphasis on practical diving skills learned in both the pool and open water environments. And SDI was the first agency to require student to be taught with modern dive computers from the outset.
Location description: Our Dive Centers have accommodations at the following crystal-clear Bulgarian Dams – Batak, Iskar and Iovkovtsi. We offer not only underwater adventures but also offer entertainment – the use of motor boats and jet-ski as well as trips to exciting places.Don’t forget – the most important thing is that you have fun!
Trips to different underwater sites are organized throughout the different levels of education, as well as dives to interesting wrecks and diving in different Open Water basins (dams and lakes and caves).
We can offer all kinds of trips, course and dives to the following locations: Ahtopol, Bolata, Cape Emine, Cape Kaliakra, Cape Maslen Nos, Cape Shabla, Duni, Durankulak, Emona, Iailata, Kamen Briag, Nesebar, Rezovo, Silistar, Sinemorec, Sozopol, Tshirakman, Tulenovo, Varvara.
A trip to a mussel plantation – This is your chance to see the way in which such a plantation is organized and how it functions. You will also get the chance to try various tasty dishes, which will be prepared especially for you.
The species of the flora and fauna which you might see during your dives are: different kinds of sea crabs, mussels, oysters, dolphins, sand-fish, turbot-fish, sea-cats, a diversity of sea – weeds and sea-anemones as well as numerous kinds of small fish. During some months you’ll be able to observe underwater the extremely beautiful phenomenon – the phosphorescence of the seawater.
