Wrecks:
*The Rubis
The ``Rubis`` is a submarine and a mine-layer bilt in 1931. It was sunk, the 31 of january 1958, off shore of ``Cap Camarat`` on a 40 meters deep sand ground.
The ``Rubis`` is classed amondst the most
beautifull dives in the whole word. Because of the frequent under-current, this dive is only reserved to confirme divers ( at least level II).
You will meet numerous congers, muraenas, plenty of red mullets, and if you are lucky, perhaps will you see some ``moon fishes``.
Don`t miss absolutely this dive !
*The Togo
`` Togo`` is a cargo-boat, built at
Newcastle in England in 1882. It is
a steamer as well as a sailing-boat
: 76 meters long, 10 mters wide.
This boat also wore the name of ``Ville de Valence``. It was sunk by a mine the 12th of may 1918.
The vessel lies on a botton af sand, and because of its deph, the dive must prepared very carefully. What is special in this wreck it`s that the gorgons live on the flank of the vessel.
Some congers hide in the holds, and you may see some groupers.
*The Espingole
The espingole is a destroyer which was built in 1900 at Havre, with its 56 meters long , he could reach a speed of 27 knots. On 4th February 1903, it struck the cliffs of the cap Taillat and runs aground. It sunk during its towing towards Cavalaire.
An attempt to refloat it, remained unsuccessfully.
The espingole rests on a bottom of sand by 39 m.
The visibility is often good. The visit of the wreck is very pleasant, and the fauna is plentiful mérous, congers, dentis and shellfishes lobsters, galathées or lobsters.
