Blue Island Divers invites you to explore the idyllic island of Antiparos. The island is well known for its golden beaches, crystal clear waters, friendly atmosphere and rich marine life.
Here you will enjoy diving into a colorful underwater world, discover hidden treasures and experience the endless blue.
Whether you are an experienced diver, a beginner, or just a snorkeler, we at Blue Island Divers assure you that you will have the greatest diving holiday and we will try to exceed your expectations.
As a Padi dive center we have the experience and the desire to give you the most of the scuba diving world!
All dive courses are done in English, Greek, French, Italian and all Scandinavian languages. Course materials ( DVD`s, books ) available also in Geman and Dutch.
Available following courses:
*DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING
When you discover scuba diving, you discover excitement, adventure, freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the ``weightless`` exhilaration of breathing underwater.
*OPEN WATER DIVER
This course will teach you the knowledge and skills to safely explore the underwater world. You will attend dive theory, skills training in our swimming pool, and 4 open water dives. You will be surprised to see how easy and fun scuba diving is.
*ADVENTURE DIVER
The Adventure diver course gives the opportunity to divers to experience new adventures in diving. You will be doing three different dives and you can choose from deep dive, navigation, search and recovery, photography, underwater scooter, peak performance buoyancy and more. After the completion of three of these dives you will need just two dives to be certified as an Advanced open water diver
*REFRESH COURSE
This course includes a a theory session about the basic rules of scuba diving and 2 dives where you will practice some basic skills in order to feel confident and remember everything you may have forgotten.
*ADVANCED OPEN WATER
This course allows you to explore some of diving`s top adventures.
*RESCUE DIVER
Rescue diver course will show you how to perform diver rescues and manage diving The accident situations both on surface and underwater. In addition this course will help you feel more confident and will give you the knowledge and experience to look after divers and their safety.
*EFR
The Emergency First Response gives you the knowledge to perform CPR and first aid both to divers and non divers.
*DIVEMASTER
*OPENWATER > DIVEMASTER
*ADVANCED > DIVEMASTER
Location description: Get away from the crowds dive into crystal clear waters and enjoy an amazing scenery of drop-offs, caverns, canyons, boulders and swim throughs. Explore the island`s reefs in waters with visibility of 30 to 40 meters, experience the rich colorful marine life and watch the sun rays diving into the endless blue! Rock formations give shelter to octopuses, moray eels, groupers and big shells. On the rocks scorpion fish, starfish, nudibranch and tube worms are easy to see while clams and shells lay along the sandy bottom. Caverns, canyons and swim throughs are covered with colorful sponges, corals and small holes which give home to crabs and lobsters. Schools of small colorful fish swim around the rocks while tunas, turtles, jack fish and stingrays make their appearance often from the blue.
All dive sites are accessed by boat. Half of them are reefs and the rest along the island`s coastline. Most of them are protected from the usual summer north wind and the rest are visited when wind is less than 6 beufaurt or early in the morning before the wind starts blowing.
*CATHEDRAL

Incredible rock formations, and a wide swim through “The Cathedral” with white sand bottom and walls covered with hundreds of colourful sponges is the main attraction of this site. Here we light the torches enjoy the colors and watch the fish swimming out in the blue.
*STINGRAY POINT
After the descent along the boat`s line we swim to the reef`s edge ( 5 meters ) , enjoy the view and then descent to 20 meters and swim along the wall. Thousands of small fishes swim close to the wall and around us while we looking for the visit of tunas and stingrays. At 25-30 meters (advanced divers) we can look at groupers and lots of anthias. The dive site is called “stingray “ because on this site we see sometimes a huge stingray .
*BARRACUDA POINT
On this site you have very high chances to see big schools of barracudas.
They come very close to divers and swim around us during the dive. Tunas are very often seen and rarely sword fish and turtles.
*PINNACLE
A reef close to “Barracuda point” rises from the great depth to 12meters. At 20 meters there are walls, big rocks and a small canyon. Around its walls we see thousands of small fish and very often barracudas, groupers and stingrays.
*THE CANYONS
As soon as we descent we start swimming through canyons ( the main attraction of the site ) and big rocks that hide lobsters, octopuses, morays and cray fish.
*THREE VALLEY
The three valleys are somewhat connected with the “ Canyons “ but it`s a different site. This dive site has plenty of marine life and a hill that slopes down to a large area covered with posidonia and rocks.
*BUBBLE REEF
The dive starts on the plateau which is at 5 meters depth. Following the drop-off to 18meters we find a narrow canyon where we swim along and come out in a field of posidonia. The cavern will lead us to a cave where will see a school of small colorful fishes hovering.
