Company description In one of the most wonderful bays of Crete CROSTACEO Dive Center invites you to discover a peaceful, silent underwater world.
Under the Cretan Sun we provide you a great variety of diving services and equipment. Diving with us you can see a wide range of marine life such as: octopus, lobster, grouper, Moray-eel, scorpion fish.
CROSTACEO Dive Center started on April 1999. The owner and the manager is Yiannis Ligos who is a CMAS 2* Instructor, PADI OWS Instructor, SDI Instructor, Medic First Aid Instructor, Emergency First Response Instructor and TDI Instructor with specialties in NITROX, Wreck and Decompression diving.
Whether you are an experienced diver, a beginner, or just a snorkeler, we at CROSTACEO Dive Center assure you that you will have the greatest diving holiday and we will try to exceed your expectations.
CROSTACEO Dive Center is equipped with high quality equipment from AQUA LUNG, TUSA, TECHNISUB. With more than 15 complete sets and extra equipment, like 40 tanks, 20 regulators, 50 Wetsuits, a compressor of 30000 lt/hour capacity, etc, can satisfy even your most difficult and complicated diving desires.
The experienced certified divers can choose to dive with our dive boat (open deck, hard top, 8m speed boat, Peninsular 270 hp Turbo-Diesel Intercooler engine,12 full equipped divers ability) from 24 different dive sites, twice per day (9:30 am and 13:30 pm) depending on the weather.
For your comfort and safety, we offer those who bring their own equipment, a separate small building next to the dive center, where you can wash, hang and lock your equipment after each dive, so that you don’t have to carry this bulky equipment each time from and to your room.
Location description: CROSTACEO Dive Center, offers you all diving possibilities, such as escorted dives for certified divers, all levels of PADI Courses and specialties, Discover Scuba Diving Courses, Emergency First Response Courses and all kind of dives, such as Cave Dives, Wall Dives, Deep Dives, etc.
*DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING
You will enjoy the island`s underwater landscapes and as soon as we start the dive we will brief you about the dive before getting into the water. First we step in very shallow water and practise for a while before we start swimming underwater. The dive will be at a maximum depth of 6 meters for 20minutes maximum.
*SCUBA DIVER
In only two days you will be able to dive in the open sea. The “PADI Scuba Diver” course is a pre-entry level certification which is perfect for vacationers! The training consists out of the following course-sessions: Three theory lessons, three pool lessons, two dives in the sea. With the “PADI Scuba Diver” certification, you can dive under the direct supervision of a Dive master, Assistant Instructor or Instructor and within one year you can have the chance to continue your diving education in any PADI dive center and become Open Water Diver, only by doing another two theory lessons, two pool sessions and two sea dives.
*OPEN WATER DIVER
This course will teach you the knowledge and skills to safely explore the underwater world. You will attend dive theory, skills training in our swimming pool or confined water, and 4 open water dives.
*ADVENTURE DIVER
The Adventure diver course gives the opportunity to divers to experience new adventures in diving. You will be doing three different dives and you can choose from deep dive, navigation, search and recovery, photography, underwater scooter, peak performance buoyancy and more.
*REFRESH COURSE
This course includes a theory session about the basic rules of scuba diving and 2 dives where you will practice some basic skills in order to feel confident and remember everything you may have forgotten.
*ADVANCED OPEN WATER
This course consists of 5 adventure dives including a deep and a navigation dive. You can choose the theme of the rest 3 dives. Multilevel, underwater naturalist, deep diving ,night diving, search and recovery and some of the dives you can choose.
*RESCUE DIVER
Rescue diver course will show you how to perform diver rescues and manage diving the accident situations both on surface and underwater.
*EFR
The Emergency First Response gives you the knowledge to perform CPR and first aid both to divers and non divers. The theory includes self rescue, rescue management, equipment use e.t.c.
