1. Divecenter Kassandra

2. North Aegean
-The ``North Aegean Diving Center`` is situated on the beautiful Chalkidiki, on the peninsula of the Sithonia, 15 km south of Sarti, opposite to the Athos Mountain. It`s the oldest diving center of Northern Greece established in 1987.
-The modern technological equipment which is available and the great experience of his team have established the ``North Aegean Diving Center`` as one of the most credible diving centers in Greece and in Europe as well.
-``North Aegean Diving Center`` offers:
Complete diving equipment`s for a number of 20 SCUBA divers
Two dive excursions per day ( 11:00 and 16:00 )
Wreck diving ; Cavern diving ; Drift diving
Diving courses and a variety of sea activities ( water ski, ...)
Rentals and filling station
-The ``North Aegean Diving Center`` disposes a boat ( inflatable R.I.B 6,20m ) and two compressors BAUER. Underwater locations are accessible for beginners and experienced divers. All dives take place under the escort of diving guides ( instructors ).
The diving center is opened from 1/5 till 30/9.
Accommodation: hotels, boarding houses and camping sites.
3. Aqualand
The diving center organises diving excursions at 11.00 a.m. and 16.00 a.m. every day and what`s more, night dives. All dives take place in carefully selected territories, proper for divers of each level.
Moreover, the center organises introductive dives for those who want to experience the underwater world, without having a diver`s diploma.
For those who want to get a diploma, the center organises courses of PADI and CMAS, for all levels, Nitrox dives and PADI and IANTD (International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers) courses for Nitrox diving. The center gives the possibility of renting equipment and tank-filling.
The diving center `Aqualand` works in the establishments of one of the most organised campings of Chalkidiki, camping `Platanitsi`. The camping disposes supermarket, cafeteria, bar, restaurant, basket and beach-volley playgrounds, aerobic classes.
Location description: Compare between diving in Chalkidiki and Halkidiki:
- Halkidiki is situated some X kilometres from Thessaloniki. It is constituted of three peninsulas: Kassandra, Sithonia, and Athos where you can find the monastic city of the Holy Mountain (Agion Oros).
- On the first two peninsulas, many diving centres will bring you by car or boat to the most beautiful places which have enchanting sea beds.
- The visibility in the water is greater than 20 metres, the temperature in the summer is of 260C on the water and of only 160C below 20 metres. For those who like to dive in the depths of the sea, a 7mm thick diving suit is highly recommended.
-The hyperbaric centre is situated in the St Paul`s hospital in Thessaloniki.
- The sea beds have a hugely diversified flora and fauna:
Corals, sponges, diazona, molluscs, crabs, crayfish, octopuses, muraena, congers, sea horses, damselfish, groupers, scorpion fish, saddled bream, goldstrieme, rainbow wrasses, mullets, etc.
Caves, wrecks, anchors, etc.
All these provide a fascinating sight.
- The beauty spots of the area are particularly interesting for underwater photographers who will have the opportunity to exercise their skills.
- Diving on Halkidiki is allowed, since 1977, in certain spots only. You can ask about the conditions to the maritime police or to the diving centres and also on the ``FaNi`` web page.

*Kassandra
Small underground caves, depth of 70m, are directly accessible from the beach
*Sithonia
Wreck, underground cave and beautiful depths are only accessible by boat. Two or three sites are accessible by the beach
*Akti Kalogrias
Islet accessible by the beach, 35m of depth. The left strand of the beach is also worth a visit.
*Kelifos
Small island situated between Sithonia and Kassandra, with goats as only inhabitants. Beautiful marine scenery and virgin areas make of this site a diving must.
