Company description Sligo Sub Aqua Club is now one of the largest clubs in the country affiliated to Comhairle Fo Thuinn (Irish Underwater Council).

Location description: Some words about ARRANMORE WEEKEND that we spent:
``The club went to Arranmore Island off Donegal for the June Bank holiday weekend. About 31 people traveled from the club in addition to the 77 football players who provided the entertainment for the weekend. Josie might have names and addresses for any one who is interested. The weekend went very well; there were some spectacular dives, the weather held out okay with great sunshine on the Friday and Sunday. The Shovelin’s were accident prone on Saturday but don’t worry guys, even Jesus fell three times. One boat load headed out to dive the Skijfjord and would be still out there looking only for the assistance of a local fisherman. Mark O’Hara would make a great dive guide in the tropics, tying on mooring lines for the paying guests and dislodging lobster pots for the locals. Noel says he has the wreck marked on the GPS for next year (like he did from last year ha ha!!). Aggie was seen entering the pub through the window, so don’t be stuck if you have locked yourself out. The fresh air on Friday night proved too much for some, thankfully Myra was on hand to buddy up with Noel Sexton on Saturday. It was great to see the non divers out for the crack, Maura, Mary, Concepta, Linda, Richard, Denise, Roger, Sabina, Fiona …. and Geraldine Gallagher.
