Service:
Vacation Holiday Scuba Diving
Wreck Diving
Company description
A dive in Italy is not only a dive in its enchanting sea, but in history, art and lifestile. We are not a tour operator, nor a travel agency: the nature of our service is very personal. We work closely with you in order to understand your travel requirements and preferences. Our goal is to make your scuba dive vacation in Italy a dreaming reality by eliminating the stress, disappointments, and inconvenience that do-it-yourself travelers often encounter.
Dive-in-Italy`s staff is formed by professional travel consultants and scuba diving instructors. We are able to help you to organize your scuba diving vacation in Italy, providing information, connections, a selection of professional and very safe diving services and a choose among the best dive spots in the Mediterranean Sea.
Diving but not only. Due to our experience and knowledge of Italy, we can organize a `tailor-made` tour for you and your interests: art, archaeology, food & wine, handicraft and traditions.
Dive-in-Italy offers two levels of service:
*If you are a free spirit who requires only a small amount of assistance and arrangements, Open Travel is your level. What we can do for you is to suggest you your dives - according to your preferences and experience - and lodging close to the diving facility. You will receive copies of all possible arrangements, plus helpful hints, recommended reading, and information about anything you are interested in (major cities, museums, archaelogical sites, etc.)
*Master Travel level offers you the services included in the Open one, and more. You know you want to see some museums, but not all. How do you choose? Perhaps you want to do something really unique, like spend a couple of days in a charming tiny fishermen island, buy a tailor made `italian style` dry suit, visit vineyards and cellars. Or you want to shop the famous Italian clothing designers, see a couple of operas, and dine at the finest restaurants Italy has to offer. You want to go to Italy, but you don`t want to spend time researching cities, guides, and hotels. Master Travel level is total service: we plan for you your italian travel in detail.
In addition to detailed information, telephone numbers, directions, etc., all levels of service receive the Dive-in-Italy Travel Information Kit. This includes a condensed region overview and history, not-to-be-missed sites, reading lists, how to pack, how to tip, how to ship things home, basic Italian phrases, an English-Italian scuba diving dictionary and an overview of italian diving rules and uses. As well as helpful hints for understanding the Italian culture and its people.

Some words about our tours.
UNESCO believes that over half of the world`s cultural wealth is in Italy, and much of that is in Rome, The Eternal City. Explore this treasure of Western civilization that truly offers something for everyone.
Begin your visit with a tour of this great and multi-faceted city: through the Piazza Venezia and past Michelangelo`s Campidoglio, through The Arch of Constantine, past the Colosseum and The Baths of Caracalla, along the Tiber River and the fortified Castel Sant` Angelo. Then visit St. Peter`s Basilica, the Vatican Museums with the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo`s marvelous ceiling frescoes; The Roman Forum and the Farnese Gardens.
The Villa Borghese, with its marvelous Etruscan collection and Gardens. Much of the best of Rome must be seen on foot, so walk through narrow streets that open surprisingly onto the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Piazza Navona and many other picturesque landmarks.
Take one day to visit the archaelogical site of Ostia Antica, with its well preserved buildings, tabernae and mosaics. From there you will move to Anzio were you spend the next days diving in the facing Pontine Islands.
The archipelago offers various types of soundings such as shoals, walls ,caves and wrecks.
You will see big fans of red gorgonians while the long antennae of lobsters protrude from many cracks, adding some yellow to the palette of this paradise. You can also experience a special emotion snorkeling among the well preserved walls of an ancient roman peschiera, huge basins used to breed fishes.
Devote the last day to a fascinating excursion into the nearby countryside to visit amazing Hadrian`s Villa and the cool, beautiful fountain gardens of the Villa D`Este. At Tivoli, in the outskirts of Rome.
