Location description:
You can find information about marine life, fish, mollusks, tunicates, etc. There is a big list with descriptions of different kinds, for example fish:
-Dogfish
It is a small shark with an elongated body and a rounded snout. It rarely exceeds one meter in length. Its two dorsal fins are set rather close together toward the back. It is light brown in color, with small patches of different shades of brown, and its belly is lighter. Relatively common on muddy seabeds, it usually lives down to 100 meters in depth, although it can also be found in deeper waters. The female deposits the fertilized eggs on a variety of surfaces such as rocky protuberances, coral algae, and gorgonian branches. It feeds mainly on benthic invertebrates such as mollusks and crustaceans. Similar but larger is the Scyliorhinus stellaris, commonly known as a nursehound. This less-common species prefers hard and rocky seabeds, and is generally found between 20 and 60 meters below the surface.
-Moray
This long, snake-shaped fish is compressed laterally and can achieve lengths of 130 cm. It has only one dorsal fin that runs from the brachial opening all the way to the end of the body, while it lacks pectoral or ventral fins. Its head is characterized by two tube-shaped nostrils and a mouth with long, sharp teeth. Its skin, bare and covered with mucous, has dark brown coloring with lighter splotches and streaks. It is a nocturnal species that spends the day in its den, dug into the rocky recesses up to 80 meters underwater. It feeds on octopuses, crustaceans, and other fishes. Although it is not an aggressive animal, it can inflict painful bites if harassed.
-Conger
It has an elongated body that is solid and snake-shaped. It has two pectoral fins located immediately behind its head, and two long fins (dorsal and anal) that join in the caudal area. Its eyes are large and its lips fleshy. The conger eel has no scales, and its grey skin, which is darker on its back, is covered in mucous. It can reach 2 meters in length. This species feeds at night, capturing large mollusks, crustaceans and other fishes. During the day it seeks refuge in rocky recesses and inside wrecks at depths commonly ranging from 10 to 100 meters.
-Forkbeard
This fish has a solid body that tapers toward its tail. Its first dorsal fin is tall and triangular, the second dorsal fin and the anal fin run all the way to the caudal pedicle. The caudal fin is rounded. The ventral fins are transformed into long wispy barbels, and a third barbel is located under the jaw. It has large eyes. It is brown, dark on its back and light on its sides and belly. A nocturnal predator, it feeds on small fishes and invertebrates.
