Company description Divesicily is one of the most experience dive operators in the Sicilian Oriental Coast. Today every diving guest take profit from their extensive knowledge.
One of our Divesicily specialities is dive training for children. Courses that have been especially adapted for children can be attended by children of 8 years and above. There are plenty of small wetsuits, BCDs and extra small tanks available. Children invariably have a good time and parents can enjoy the sun for a few hours or dive with them!
Your daily diving will start at one of the many local dive sites, protected from swell and current. During your first day our guide will brief you on the services available, and help you to design the diving package which suits you best. The choice of diving destination will then be yours to make.
Learn to dive with Divesicily Club`s friendly instructors in the amazing Sicilian Sea. Scuba diving is a fun, easy and safe adventure that will last a lifetime. Divesicily offer Padi courses, instruction can be give in Italian, French, German, Dutch, English, Russian Swedish and Japanese.
*Discover Scuba Diving
During this one day training program, a PADI instructor will teach you the fundamentals of scuba diving, including the essential skills and safety information. Your Instructor will then take you for two exciting dives where you will discover the wonders of the under water world. Course include a dive lecture, all equipment, a guided scuba dive from the shore, a boat dive in the Marine reserve of Isola Bella Bay with your instructor and a certificate on completion of your dive. Min. age: 8 years.
*Scuba Diver
The PADI Scuba Diver program is a perfect solution for those who don`t have time for the full Open Water Course but still want to experience the underwater world. As part of the PADI Open Water Diver program, the PADI Scuba Diver rating allows you to get certified quickly and easily, it takes only 2 days! With the PADI Scuba Diver certification you can dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor or higher professional to a maximum depth of 12 metres. The certification can be upgraded to full Open Water Diver in only 2 days, any time after completing the Scuba Diver course.
*Open Water Diver
Become a diver! This, the world`s most popular dive program will give you a worldwide recognized diving certification. Learn the fundamentals of scuba diving including dive theory, equipment and diving techniques. During this 4 day program, you will cover basic dive safety theory, key confined water training exercises plus have a minimum of four open water dives. Course include use of Open Water Manual & Dive Tables, personalised Naxos Dive Log Book equipment rental & dives. Duration is a minimum of ..........5 days.
*Adventure & Advanced Open Water Diver
It takes only one single day to be certified as a PADI Adventure Diver. All you need to do is to complete 3 out of the 5 dives included in the Advanced Open Water Diver Course, please see below! And then upgrade yourself to Advanced Diver any time after that.
*Emergency First Response Course
A medic first aid certification is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to take a Rescue Diver Course, and we therefore offer a PADI Emergency First Response Course, which takes one day and will teach you how to give Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (heart massage and mouth-to-mouth), as well as basic first aid techniques.
*Rescue Diver Course
Your first day will consist of pool and class work, equipping you with basic skills such as assisting a panicking diver, surfacing an unconscious diver, and out of air drills. In the classroom you will learn how to quickly identify stress in divers and how to minimise the risks associated with differing diving conditions. The second and third days are spent on the boat simulating emergencies.

*Grotta Azzurra (The Blue Grotto): max.depth 25 m
The most beautyful dive of Taormina, not so far from the Dive Center just 5 min. by boat, nice to see a tousand of shrimps and a lot of colorful corals and eels, easy dive for all levels. Fish feeding directly from your hand at the end of the dive. The Grotta Azzurra (blue cave) is shallow and fairly well sheltered from current. The best part of the dive is the shrimps cave, so jump in here. The coral patch on the high cliff is a good marker. The small bay beneath has a small tunnel at the back. This is the entrance to the first set of caves. It is easiest to enter shallow, about 5 m. The cave forks immediately. It has a sandy floor and steep walls on either side, shafts of light pierce the roof. At the back is a narrow chamber full of encrusted colorful sponges and corals and occasionally some mooray eel. The left hand fork leads to an exit at 15 m. As you leave the cave, put your right shoulder to the wall. As you turn the prominent shoulder at 18 m into the sandy bay, you will come across the great wall. The furthest back is at about 3 m. You can waste a happy ten minutes here, watching the orange astroides corals. while spending time for safe stop you may feed the local side rainbow fishes that come to eat directly from your hands
*Mazzaro Bay max.depth 18m
The bay slopes gently down as a series of buttresses and sandy ledges, making an ideal playground for trainee divers. For this reason Mazzaro Bay is very popular with local divers. In summer baby barracuda school are next to the beach. because of its shape, Mazzaro Bay is a very good night dive. The sandy slope beneath the jetty comes alive with small squid and octopus. Further out on the bottom are small octopus, baby morays, red starfish and gold stonefish.
*Tunnel del Diablo: max.depth 30m.
Jumping in the water from The near blue cave bay follow having the wall at your left, the entrance of the tunnel are at 22 mt. the encrusting white sponges show a unreal spettacle.The shrimps Cave located inside the Tunnel at depth of 30m.(100 ft.) offer a breathtaking view, the cristal clear water show to the divers a complex ecosistem. Only diver per time is possible to visit inside. the spettacle is rare never seen in other place, the shrimps red & blue escape away when the Divemaster dazzles them with dive lamp. possibility to meet a current, so near the wall follow the corner at your right and go up for the safe stop in the nearby Blue cave Bay. You need at least your advanced experience to book this dive.
*Mermaid Rock: max.depth 30m.
Nice Dive for Open and Advanced Divers, the wall go direct to the deep, underwater caverns are full of White Sponges and Colorful Corals. Diadema sea urching is common in this dive, the wall during the depth are covered with thousend of red anthias fish, some time is not rare to meet a big mooray eel in some hole.
