The MOJACAR DIVING CENTRE has a professional team with who you will become a qualified diver.You will be able to practise your new skills and enjoy diving the wonderfull world of marine life, channels, and reefs of our seas. You don´t need to be a super athlete to take up scuba diving and anyone with an average level of fitness and health can enjoy this sport. Diving is a very safe activity, our team combines safe diving with a friendly service that make you feel at home during your stay.
If you want to get your own equipment our team will offer you everything you need.
Our branches in Madrid and Mojacar allow us to deal with a large number of divers and if necessary we can be open most of the year.
We offer:
*Discover Scuba
This course will introduce you to different aquatic life and include overview of responsible human interactions with aquatic life. Ideal for those who want to begin their initial diver training.The course covers the fundamental elements of diving and basic safety rules.You will dive a maximum deph of 12 metres accompanied at all time by a Divemaster or Instructor.
*Scuba Diver
Ideal for those who want to begin their initial diver training. The course covers the fundamental elements of diving and basic safety rules. After completing the course you will be able to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 12 metres accompained by a Divemaster or Instructor.
The course itself consists of three knowledge development sessions three confined water training sessions two open water dives conducted to a depth no more than 12 metres.
The students can be certified as PADI Scuba divers if they finish sucessfully.
*Open Water Diver
Your instructors will assume you have no advance knowledge of diving and they will take you through each stage point by point.
The course is divided in three parts:
Knowledge development,confined water and open water scuba dives. During the course you will practise and master the skills that you will need as a diver.
After completing the course you will feel comfortable, safe and happy under water.
*Advanced OWD
The course consist of 5 specialitiestwo of which compulsory (deep and navigation) and three electives: Night dive, Search and discovery, Multilevel, Under water naturalist
Photography, Boat, Peak performance buoyancy, And more...
*Rescue
This course develops your knowledge and skills so you can effectively perform diver assist and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid. In this course you will win experience and knowledge as a diver.
*Medic First Aid
In this course you will be able to know what to do when you receive a call for help, you will use the knowledge and skills learned in this course to save lives. We aren´t doctors. It is however still important that also all the divers know how to provide medic first aid. The sooner we can start with first aid, the more chances there are on a complete recovery.
*Divemaster
You will develop your water skills and academic knowledge including dive planning, control and supervising of students and dive management....
Founded in 1996 Centro Escuela Buceo Mojacar is a diving centre created by divers for divers, making you feel at home during your stay.
The team leaded by Pedro Navarro & Mª Carmen together with Tony and Rocío will take care of everything you need in a profesional manner to make yours an enjoyable holiday.

Location description: Some words about our dive sites:
*EL ARCO DE SAN ANDRES
One of the star dives at St. Andrew`s island; The dive starts over a rock platform at 6 meters from which we drop down the very colourful walls of the crater onto a sand circle at 16 meters then through a natural stone arch and following a high wall until the end of the dive over a maximum depth of 31 meters. We can see gorgonias, as well as conger eel, moray eel, octopus, dusky sea pearch, codfish....
*EL MOTOR
On this dive we can see a Second World War bomber engine laid on a sand bed at a maximum depth of 27 meters. The whole aircraft is believed to be burried under the sand but the only part of it that remains uncovered is this engine.
This is an impresive site, the large engine is home to some moray eels and many other creatures, also very interesting is the detail of the different parts of the engine.
*PUNTA DE LOS MUERTOS
Right in the heart of the Cabo de Gata`s Natural Reserve we can enjoy a shallower dive (12m) in cristal clear waters and spectacular surroundings.
During this dive and depending on the current we can visit a small cave where we will be able to surface and breath normally without the regulator.
*LAS CUATRO UÑAS
This is a beach dive on the Cabo de Gata Resrve in which we can see some antique canyons and ammunition, very clear waters. Good dive for photography. In good sea conditions we often use this as a night dive,lots of scorpion fish.
*EL ACUARIO
It´s name is because the most spectacular marine life in the area.This is the begining of the natural park of CABO DE GATA; The semi-tropical water offers a great variety of marine flora and fauna, with more than a thousand species of fish. The mountain tend to offer more protecction with small fish and macro life, it´s a perfec place for photographers. Many clients have returned to sample the delights of what this beautifull place has to offer for yet another year, perfect for the beginners (divers and photographers).Don´t miss out..
*EL ACUARIO II
This dive is in the same place, but it´s deeper than the ACUARIO. Between 11 and 20 metres we will dive into small underwater islands and channels plenty of colours with a lot of octopus, morays, groupers...
*SAN PEDRO
In the heart of the natural park (CABO DE GATA),we will find a wonderfull dive who offers a true variety of clear water, softy or strong currents and the most increible variety of marine life. It´s a natural channel of water for lots of animals.If you are lucky you will never forget the dive.
*LA CATEDRAL
Maybe this is our best dive.It´s one of the best of south of Spain. la costa andaluza.
Two miles away from the coast, 32 metres of deph.The dive site is a huge hole in a mountain. We will dive into the mountain who has diferents exit; All the exits have differents kinds of blue. In the cathedral we could see a lots of groupers,skates,scorpionfish, and another kinds of marine life.
