Company description The C.I.R. offers a unique package :
A diving centre with a complete service and a 3-star hotel on the beach .
The natural park ``Cap de Creus`` with a host of thrilling diving sites for beginners and experienced divers.
The experience of Paco Falco, a local professional diver, who has been bringing out divers since 30 years.
His son David is also a CMAS, PADI and SSI instructor.
CMAS, PADI and SSI instructors offer from a first ``baptism`` to complete courses for beginners and advanced divers.
Our air filling station, a dive shop and rental of equipment complete our operation.
Offers:
- 1 Catamaran with glass bottom, 17 meters, with a capacity of 50 divers and fully equipped : VHF, sonar, radar, telephone, oxygen and first aid equipment, toilet and auxiliary Zodiac.
- 1 Professional semi-rigid inflatable boat with a 145 HP engine and a capacity of 12 divers.
- 3 Bauer compressors with a capacity of 81 m3/hour.
- Rinsing facilities with sweet water and 5 changing rooms for groups, to change and safely leave behind the diving equipment .
-HOTEL UNIVERS has a big swimming pool where beginners can get accustomed with the equipment under the supervision of qualified CMAS, PADI and SSI instructors.
- A dive shop with a wide selection and attractive prices. Meeting rooms with video, overhead projection.
Location description: The coast near Rosas is one of the most beautiful parts of the Costa Brava.
For a long time a restricted military zone, it has been spared from intensive real estate development.
The best diving sites are located between Punta Falconera and Punta de la Figuera. They are reached by boat in 15 to 30 minutes.
The spots that have been selected by Paco Falco offer a dramatic underwater scenery, with rocks, boulders, cliffs ands holes.
They all offer interesting dives for beginners and experienced divers alike.
The underwater world of the natural park is astonishing and each dive brings plentiful encounters with all kinds of species of animal life and colourful flora
Some words about accomodation:
HOTEL UNIVERS *** is near the town center (5 minutes walking), near the beach (100 mts), in front of the new “Marina” (sport port) of Roses.
We have 209 rooms with bath or shower, terrace, central heating, telephone, safe box (to rent) and TV (satellite)
Big swimming pool and a small one for kids, big sunbathing area with sunbeds, tennis court, bar, disco, TV-room with big screen, closed parking...
Restaurant
The 2 meals (breakfast and dinner) are taken in self service and the buffets offer a wide selection of starters, meat, fish, vegetables, deserts,....as much as you can eat. Lunch can have had at the hotel and we offer a variety of light and reasonably priced dishes.
