The CITADELMAR is an close friend scuba- diving centre , PADI and FFESSM-CMAS school in the south of Tenerife -Canarias-Spain to share experience of diving .
We offer:
Open Water Diver:
5 days with 5 modules theory (supported with video, book ), 5 confined water and 4 open water dives. PS: For people in a hurry, split the course in two, the first part
Scuba Diver , 3/5 of the Open Water in three days and the second part to be finished within the following year with the instructor of your choice.
Advanced Course : follows the Open Water, a course to perfect your scills in 5 speciality dives like marine biology, deep (30m), night, current, buoyancy, minimum 2,5 days
Deep specialty : access to the max deep limit 40 m
In the Rescue Diver Course you will learn the basic safety skills diving related, 12 exercises in 6 dives plus 4 modules theory (length min 5 days). Followed by one day MedicFirst Aid including mouth to mouth resuscitaion and heart massage.
Dive Master is the last amateur course and the first step to professionalism. Complete knowledge of theory, perfection of basic skills, competence in dive guiding. This course is the final round up of sports diving and opens the doors to a professional career....... length min 10 days........
REGULATOR/COMPRESSOR SPECIALITY will teach you to get to know better how your regulator works and will show you possible malfunctions, will give you basic knowledge of the compressor, length 1 day.
UNDERWATERFOTO DIGITAL SPECIALITY will teach you how to handle and make underwater-takes with the latest in digital technology. Learn how to take and edit your own films. Equipment used: Digitalfoto length one week, morning dives and afternoon dry work.
Location description: Tenerife is an island of volcanic origin. After the first 10 m fromthe beach begins the zone of algae growth like Cystoseira or Posionia. The sea bottom is a succession of basalt rocks and light white sand. After 30 m depth the rocks are covered with black coral like Christmas trees....
We have more than 30 diferents dive sites from few meters till more than 40meters , according to your qualification and yours wishes .
Other than the local bastard grunts, zebra breams, moray eels, trumpet fish, big eyes or barracudas, there are lots of surprises, you can find yourself looking at a giant black ray, angel shark (friendly), grey triggerfich.
Even though at the same site, the dives are always different, because you see different things....
Currents and good visibility are inseparable in the Canaries, there can be very strong currents at the time of full or new moon, caution is advised....
