Company description WELCOME TO THE OCTOPUS!
Our Dive Boats, modern and specifically designed for Scuba Diving, are fully equiped to make you enjoy your dives with the highest safety:
Radio VHF, telephone, diesel engine, oxygen and First Aid Kit for divers, special ladder, tank rack, tools and spares, with a wide deck and stern platform to gear up and jump into the water easily.
Daily HALF DAY DIVE TRIPS (single dive) at 10 AM and 16 PM.
Three times a week FULL DAY DIVE TRIPS (2 dives and lunch on board).
NIGHT DIVES on Tuesdays and Fridays at 21 PM.
More than 30 dive spots await you in Mallorca`s northwest coast; an impressive visibility, often around 30mts., caverns with spectacular lightgames, ideal for the UW Photo & Video, and all the Mediteranean flora & fauna: moray eels, silver fish, groupers, red coral, octopus, etc.
Some of our dive spots: Na Foradada, Cova Blava, Es Cavall, Cova d`es Pintor, Es Joncar
and many others.
We dive following sport diving standards, with an average depth profile of 15 to 25 meters and never beyond 40 meters. Extend your bottom time with NITROX up to 40% and get closer to the schools of barracudas and dentis with our Dräger rebreathers.
It`s possible to hire all gear, first quality from Cressi Sub, fully revised, from wich we are Official Diving Center and Area Authorized Dealer.
A BAUER Filling Station delivers first quality air, free of impurities. Our Nitrox is guaranteed by our DNAx Membrane System UBS & BAUER up to EAN 40%.
A little dive shop is available for gear and dive souvenirs, as well as the possibility to make UW photos and videos of your dives.
Following the PADI System of Diving Education you can do with us the Dive Course you wish, from beginner to advanced and specialities, with flexible time schedule according to your holidays.
We use the best didactic material and the dedication of Instructors with a long experience in the diving field.
SCUBA DIVER COURSE
Start learning Scuba Diving with this program: 3 theory and video, pool, 2 dives on the sea.
You get qualified as Scuba Diver meaning you can dive with an Instructor or Divemaster, but not independently. You have the possibility to upgrade to the Open Water Diver during 1 year or keep your status for a lifetime.
Duration: 15 hrs. approx. during 3 afternoons - 7 modules
Price: EUR 260.- including PADI certificate, manual, tables, log book, insurance and dive equipment.
Requirements: 12 years of age, medical statement.
OPEN WATER DIVER
The base for all divers training, combining theory and practice (pool and sea), that will make of you a certified and qualified diver able to dive up to 18 mts.
Duration: 6 afternoons (flexible schedule) - 12 modules
Price: EUR 360.- including student kit (manual+tables+tests), logbook, certification, dive material, pool and boat trips, all fees.
Requirements: 12 years of age, medical statement and 3 photographies.
UPGRADE SCUBA DIVER to OPEN WATER DIVER
Complete your training as an independent diver.
2 theory classes + final test, and 2 dives on the sea.
Duration: 15 hrs. approx. on 3 afternoons - 5 modules
Price: EUR 175.- including PADI certification and dive gear.
Requirements: 12 years of age, medical statement and a Scuba Diver Card (not older than 1 year).
REFERRAL OPEN WATER DIVER
Complete your training with us after finishing theory & examn and the pool part with another Instructor; we`ll make a knowledge review and 4 dives on the sea.
Duration: 15 hrs. approx. during 4 afternoons - 4 modules
Price: EUR 175.- including PADI certification and dive gear.
Requirements: 12 years of age, medical statement and a referral form signed by the initial Instructor.
ADVANCED DIVER
Discover new diving techniques: UW navigation, night diving, deep diving, UW naturalism and UW photograpy or scooter diving.
Practical sessions + knowledge refreshment ``Scuba Tune Up`` = Best Fun !!!
Duration: 5 dives, minimum of 2 days.

NORTH MALE ATOLL
Maldive Victory
Maldivian flag cargo ship sunken 13th february 1981, 130mts long, liying at 33mts depth with part of his cargo on the holds.
Banana Reef
Coral boulder in the chanel between Club Med and Full Moon resorts, plenty of colorful and sizeful fishes, with napoleon wrase, tuna and jack fish hunting on the current, turtels and moray eels on the top of the reef.
Furana Thila
A wide channel will drift you to the coral formation;during the trip you can see giant tuna, groupers, reef sharks, eagle rays and even manta rays;once on the coral formation you can see honeycom and leopard mooray eels, turtles and all kind of fish and many anemones with the clown fishes.
SOUTH MALE ATOLL
Embudu Kandu
The typical channel-crossing diving in Maldives; a 200mts wide x 30mts deep, U shaped channel with an out drop off where schools of white and grey reef sharks, patrols of eagle rays, jackfish and barracuda schools feed and hunt facing the incoming stream with fresh nutrients. We´ll drift in, after a while finishing on the inside channel thila where coral fauna is just wonderful!
Kandooma Thila
One of the most beautiful dive spots of the Maldives; a large thila in the middle of channel where life is plentiful; sharks, including the hammerhead are available, rays, tuna and jacks; on top of the thila a family of green turtles is always around.
Guraidhoo Kandu
Two chanels with a middles reef opens to the oceanic tidal changes allowing millions of litres of water flow in and out the atoll; we can dive at least five spots here and we can see all kinds of sharks, giant tuna and trevally, sail fish, rays and dolphins. It´s a lifetime experience as you´ll enter the atoll drifting with speed close to 5 knots.
ARI ATOLL
Rangali & Himandho - MANTA POINT
Encounters with the majestic manta rays while they get cleaned up by the cleaner wrasses at the cleaning stations are by far one of the best dive experiences for any diver. If you are calm and stay still you¹ll be able to observe real close thos se animals as they are very curious about divers and the bubbles we produce approaching even a meter dancing and turning above you.
Halaveli Wreck
a little wreck interesting because of the fauna living on it; giant green moray eels, yellow puffer fish and the simpatic sting rays who come to play with divers; you´ll be able to gently caress them; as well a big school of jack fish turns non stop close to the boat; every now and then guitar sharks are seen in the area.
Mushimas Mingili Thila-FISH HEAD
A thila away from everywhere awarded as a top ten world best dive spot, grey reef and white tip shark, rays, turtles, anemones and clown fishes, condensed on a 50 x 80qm spot.
Khuda Rha Thila
A multicolour aquarium: hundreds of yellow banner fish, bat fish, parrot fish, ... we would never stop counting fish available here, a must on your safari.
