Lanzarote boasts one of the most unspoilt diving areas in Europe and all of us at Dive College Lanzarote would like to welcome you to have a look around at some of the more undiscovered areas of this beautiful island.
As a 5-star Instructor Development Center we offer many courses, from the complete beginner through to becoming a fully qualified instructor.
We are also a complete family orientated centre, which offers a range of activities for all age groups.
We hope all the information you require, to make your stay in Lanzarote a pleasant one, is featured in this site, however please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Dive College Lanzarote is situated in the town of Playa Blanca in the South of the island.
Being one of the island`s only beach centres, we are lucky enough to have direct access to the crystal blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean while being able to take in the fantastic views of the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura & Lobos.
The 5 star PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center award given by PADI, ensures the highest level of safety & facilities that a dive centre can offer.
Our fully qualified instructors will provide you with a 1st class service of both training & advice and will make sure that beginners or qualified & experienced divers alike have full access to the centre`s extensive facilities & equipment.
All advice and tuition, both about the centre and the actual courses will be given by our instructors in: English, Dutch, German & Spanish.
Dive College Lanzarote is one of the most recently opened dive schools which combines 10 years of experience in Holland, the UK and Germany with an extensive local knowledge of both area and the touristic services available.
Together with the friendly & experienced staff we provide one of the most comprehensive services to both new & experienced divers.

In 1987 I started diving as a military diver and since then I have been diving for different schools and companies. At the moment I am a PADI Staff Instructor, C.M.A.S., N.A.S.E and instructor for the R.A.B. (Rebreather Advisory Board).
I enjoy my job every day and would love to show you the beautiful underwater world in the clear, warm waters of Lanzarote. I hope to see you soon at our diving school.

Location description: Lanzarote is one of the seven main Canary Islands, situated less than 100 miles from Morocco on the coast of West Africa.
Lanzarote is the most recent of the main islands.
Its birth, like the other islands in the archipelago, came about from massive volcanic activity over 10,000 years ago.
The Canary Islands are one of the few European holiday destinations that benefit from predictable sun all the year round, with average temperatures of around 22ºC.
If you plan your diving holiday here, you and your party will also benefit from a host of different activities to suit almost every interest, (not to mention the thirteen fine beaches peppered around the island where you can soak up the tropical sunshine).
The Fire Mountains National Park boasts the appearance of a Martian landscape. The most recent volcanic activity, which started in 1730, has given Lanzarote a chain of some thirty new volcanic peaks and craters. This unique gift has earned the Island a `World Heritage` classification. There are frequent exploratory excursions to the park offering an exciting day out for the whole family.
In addition to usual holiday sporting activities, such as parascending, jetskiing and sailing, there are other land bound activities such as quad biking, horse riding and go-karting.
Lanzarote also has a fulfilling art and craft culture with museums, art galleries and markets in Teguise and Arrecife. In addition you will also discover a big wine making industry here. In fact Lanzarote wines were famous even in Shakespearean times, having been mentioned in his works some thirty or so times. The vineyards invite visitors to see their manufacturing process and offer free samples!
For those who wish to stretch their legs a little further, the Island of Fuerteventura, which you can see from our patio in front of the Dive College Lanzarote shop, is only half an hour away by Ferry and offers an altogether new set of landscapes, activities and places of interest!
For those looking for evening entertainment the list of restaurants from all cultures is endless and of course in typical Spanish tradition, the clubs are usually open very late often until 6 or 7 the following morning.
Dive College Lanzarote is situated in Playa Blanca, at the South of the Island, only forty minutes from Arrecife Airport by road. There are Luxury Hotels, Modern Holiday complexes, private villas and apartments readily available to let.
Accommodation and flights are easily obtainable from most travel agents and the standards are very high. Dive College Lanzarote can recommend accommodation and car hire if required.
