Company description Dive Tenerife is a British owned Dive Centre situated on the south coast, where most of the diving in Tenerife takes place. We are a PADI International Dive Resort and offer first class facilities, PADI diving courses and scuba diving activities to satisfy every appetite for excitement, fun and adventure.

We know that you will have lots of fun whilst you are diving with Dive Tenerife but we also take your `safety` and `well being` very seriously. We are a friendly and professional diving Centre and are committed to ensuring your enjoyment, comfort and complete satisfaction at all times.
We are a full service PADI Dive Centre located in the popular resort of Las Galletas, on the south coast of Tenerife.
The Dive Centre is run by Pete & Debbie Grant and together with our friendly and professional staff we offer first class facilities, year round diving for the certified diver, plus the full range of PADI core diving courses and 12 PADI Specialty Courses for those wishing to advance their diving skills and experience.
For those independent travellers amongst you we can also arrange your Diving & Accommodation Packages at very reasonable rates.
We welcome divers from the absolute beginner to the very experienced and can arrange custom diving packages to suit all levels .Whether you are thinking about learning to dive, pondering over where to go diving or looking to continue your diving education we will be more than happy to answer your questions and share our experiences with you.
Our own transport is available to provide you with free transfers from your accommodation, with a return trip taking place after an enjoyable days diving. We will provide transport to most areas of South Tenerife
We can accommodate any sized group, catering for the single diver, families and larger groups. The non divers are always welcome to join us on our dive trips - space permitting.
Our fully equipped 8.5 metre dive boat is moored in Las Galletas harbour and will provide you with fast, reliable and comfortable transfers to some of the best diving sites that Tenerife has to offer.
At Dive Tenerife we offer a warm and friendly welcome to everybody, irrespective of experience, qualification or diving agency. We are totally committed to ensuring that the time spent with us will be safe, memorable and fun.

Our own dive boat (we don`t use `taxi` boats) is a large 8.5 metre `Duarry` RIB and for your comfort comes equipped with boarding ladders fitted to both sides - no having to scramble up the tubes to get back on the boat after your dives!
Safety equipment includes GPS, VHF Radio, First Aid and Oxygen Kits and we also have a qualified boat handler to provide safety cover at all times.
A powerful 225 hp Mercury engine provides the propulsion for the boat which can take up to 20 divers at a time although numbers are restricted to a maximum of twelve for reasons of safety and comfort.
If you don`t have your own diving equipment don`t worry, we can also provide equipment rental and very reasonable priced VAT free equipment sales on Cressi, Scubapro, Mares and Suunto. Equipment rental is included in the price of all our courses, there are no hidden costs.
Our rental equipment includes full regulator sets with alternate air source and console containing submersible pressure gauge and depth gauge.
We have a separate equipment repair and maintenance facility which also houses our Bauer Compressor
Location description: The majority of the scuba diving in Tenerife takes place off the south and west facing coasts of the island where the dive sites vary in depth from 6 to 50+ metres. Scuba diving in Tenerife is possible all year round with water temperatures ranging from 18 degrees C in the winter to 24 degrees C in the summer months. Visibility generally varies between 15-30 metres.
Underwater, the land drops away from the coastline in a series of slopes and steps, giving divers easy access to the walls, caves and swim through`s that make up the underwater scenery.
There is abundant marine life to be found, from the small arrow crab, octopus and glass eye fish to the larger rays and barracudas. Angel sharks can also be spotted from December through to April.

Los Chuchos (The Rays)
Depth:18-21 metres
A firm favorite with everybody who has done this dive before. As you descend the anchor line you will be met by the very special sight of the stingrays coming up to greet your arrival! Around the dive site we will find stingrays, sea bream, parrotfish and damselfish. There are also colonies of garden eels in the sand around a small ship wreck. Within the hull of the wreck you will find moray eels, small puffer fish and scorpion fish. Don`t forget to bring your camera!!
Condesito Ship Wreck
Depth: 7 - 18 metres
The Condesito is lying in a canyon surrounded by walls of basalt rising from the sea bed. Inside the wreck we will find brown scorpion fish, lizardfish, trumpet fish, glass eyes, sea bream and fire worms. Swimming around outside the wreck you will usually find that there are shoals of bogues attracting predators such as almaco jacks and striped barracudas.
Cueva de Palm Mar (Palm Mar Cave)
Depth: 12 -36 metres
As we drop off the side of the plateau to 30 metres we will come across the caves of Palm Mar. As you look away from the caves you will see large rock formations rise out of the sandy sea bed that slopes gently away from the coast. It is possible to swim out to the furthest formation at about 36metres before ascending back to the plateau and enjoying the sights of painted morays, leopard spotted morays and large brown morays being groomed by small shrimps. Further along we will find sea bream, zebra fish and wrasse.
Roncadores de la Falla
Depth: 5- 28metres
As we descend we enter a large swim through to be greeted on the other side by a huge school of Roncadores which part around us as we continue our journey. Trumpet fish, octopus and monk fish can be found as we swim gently down a valley to 28 metres where we will see black corals. We make our ascent along impressive reef walls, rising until we reach a 4 metre long swim through which leads us onto a 10 meter shelf as we make our way back to the boat.
