Company description Ocean Odyssey is a family business run by Ruth and Nigel. They are both PADI Instructors and the main focus of the business is to enjoy the diving and make sure that customers are well looked after.
Nigel has been in the diving industry for 15 years and has worked in many places around the world. Ruth has been in the business for 6 years and has many years of customer service experience in the sailing industry. Together, they are using this wealth of experience to make Ocean Odyssey one of the best dive centres in Tenerife.

To take part in any of our scuba courses you will have to complete a self medical.
We offer a pre-purchase service for the full range of diving equipment.
Let us know what items you are interested in purchasing and we`ll quote you. You`ll benefit from the lower prices we can offer compared to the UK, and we`ll have it waiting for you when you arrive in Tenerife.
We can book you 1 and 2 bedroom apartments in the 3* resort of Westhaven Bay located in Costa Del Silencio, which is close to our dive centre. The centre of town is just a 10-minute walk from the resort where you will find a wide selection of restaurants and bars to fit all tastes. The resort is situated right on the coast with a pool area overlooking the bay.
*Accommodation Package based on 2 sharing
The package consists of 6 dives. Accommodation is for 7 nights and comprises a self-catering one-bedroom apartment with a sleep sofa in the lounge.
There is a fully fitted kitchen, washing machine and terrace with BBQ facilities.

Location description: Tenerife has a dual identity. Typically the North has Spanish residences, whilst the South is a vibrant holiday area full of entertainment, resorts and hotels. The North of the island has an almost tropical, productive lushness, whereas the South is rainless and dry.
Playa de las Americas is the package holiday dreamland with beaches, pubs, discos, restaurants, bars, etc.
Tenerife is the island with the longest coastline of all the Canary Islands, so it can offer a wide variety of sea bottom types, from its peculiar bare rocks, reefs and caves, to sandy bottoms and extensive underwater meadows of seagrass.
Marine life is abundant in specific places,
and that is where you will find us.
Divers will enjoy dramatic drop-offs, wrecks and reefs and plenty of marine life such as eagle rays, barracuda, angel sharks, moray eels and tuna. Black coral can also be seen at some sites. We enjoy 30 metres visibility year round and water temperatures of 18 to 26. Best of all we will often be the only dive boat on the site.
There are dives to suit every skill level so don`t worry if you don`t have much experience. We are always happy to custom any dive package to suit any special interest you may have.
*PLAYA PARAISO Shore dive - Depth range 8-15m
There are 2 dives here, one for beginner or advanced diver where you may see sea bream, damsel fish, octopus and cuttlefish. Young barracuda are often seen here and they are so used to divers you can get very close. The more advanced can venture to 30m to find some caves and reefs.
*THE RAY WRECK Las Galletas - Boat dive - Depth range 18-20m
A small boat rests on a white sandy bottom at 20m, dive centres feed the fish on this site and so you will see an abundant array of sealife including many large rays who are not shy when coming forward to seek food from divers. A very popular dive.
*MONTANA AMARILLA - Boat dive - Depth 15-20m
A good dive for beginners with drop offs from the surface to the bottom. Some caves and arches house invertebrates such as anemones, shrimps, nudibranchs, lobsters and sponges. Though not an abundance of fish life you will see trumpet fish, black tail comber, moray eels and glasseyes.
*LAS MARINAS - Shallow Steps 8 - 30m.
This is an excellent dive for the beginner or experienced diver with good photo opportunities. It is home to a large shoal of the local Roncador which can be found next to a small swim through. Atlantic Damselfish, Blue-Fin Damselfish and Trumpet fish can also be seen, along with the dramatic volcanic landscape common to Tenerife dive sites.
*EL CONDESITO - Boat Dive - Depth range 12-20mÑŽ This 43.9 metre cement carrier sank 27/09/1973 and lies in 18 metres of water. It has suffered from corrosion and storms but is still a good dive for photographers and beginners.
