Company description Wellcome to OCEANSUB-Estartit.
I`m Gemma Aymerich, Padi Instructor.
My first contact with the diving world was as a co-photographer and underwater model. After getting to know different diving centres on my many trips, I decided to turn my hobby into a profession and set up this diving center.
I have the support of Josep Clotas, underwater photographer, who has 25 years diving experience in this area. His advice and knowledge is most useful when selecting the best diving sites for the day.
OCEANSUB-Estartit is a small hospitable centre but with all the services of the very best, we work to make your stay with us as pleasant and agreeable as possible.
At OCEANSUB-Estartit you will found a place specially designed for divers, not apt for large groups. We want our visitors to feel at home with us.
You have at your disposition ample changing rooms with showers, and an area for cleaning and drying diving equipment.
We have our own class-room where we give the theory classes, where we can exchange diving experiences and why not, give tips and tricks for improving underwater photographs.

We have thought of your tranquillity, for this reason we take all your equipment by van and leave you at the foot of the gangplank: You have at your disposition a 7,5 mts length boat with two 115 hp. engines and a 8,5 mts length boat with a 260 hp. engines, so that you can enjoy the trips as much as we do ourselves.
And if you need any further equipment, no need to worry, we are supported by the distinguished brand of Cressi-sub,for any diving equipment required.
OCEANSUB-Estartit offers you the possibility of discovering the fascinating underwater world, or if you have already done so, we help you to improve on diving technique to make your immersions safer and eliminate any inconveniences whilst diving.
All of our courses are supported by the international warranty of PADI.
....... Try Dive.
If you are not sure what kind of course is best for you, of if you only want to experience new sensations for just one day, we have what you need.
Try dive consists of one theory class to learn the basics of the underwater world.
And finally the sea dive; for this we have a boat to take us to the most interesting diving site for this day. Always with the presence of a PADI qualified Instructor.
........ Open Water Diver.
You will enjoy learning to dive in an amusing and safe way.
Minimum age :16.
Duration: 5 days or 2 week-ends.
Contents: 5 theory lessons, 5 swimming pool practises, and 5 sea dives.
........ Advanced Open Water Diver.
This course will allow you to acquire more experience and knowledge about diving.
Duration: 3 days.
Contents: 5 theory lessons, and 5 sea dives.
........ Rescue Diver.
You will learn rescue techniques and how to prevent and resolve possible emergency situations.
Duration : 3 days.
Contents: 5 theory sessions, and 5 practical sessions.
........ Divemaster.
Improve your diving knowledge and skills at a professional level.

Location description: OCEANSUB-Estartit is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Costa Brava.
Not only because of the underwater spectacle of the natural reserve of the Medas Islands, but also the fascinating submarine sites along the coastline: from Cap de Begur to the most southern point of the Montgrí coast.
With OCEANSUB-Estartit you will always find the perfect dive: Wrecks, like Reggio; caves like La Vaca, El Dofí, the Pedrosa... and much more; impressive walls of gorgonias like the ones awaiting you in Furió Fito and Canons de Tamariu. Also we accompany you to the Medes Islands.

We wish to show you some of our preferred diving sites. Move across the map and stop at any diving point; you can then see what is awaiting you below the water.
Remember: we work with small groups.this gives us the flexibility to adapt the dives to your needs, go to areas that are not frequently visited or are only apt for small numbers of divers, or set up a photography clinic at an ideal site for the day.
