Company description The La Palma Diving Center ``Buceo Sub La Palma`` is a CMAS scuba diving school and a PADI Dive Center on the east side of La Palma. We are offering daily guided dives around the Canarian Island La Palma on the best diving spots,.Canyons, caves, arches, nice water temperatures and a lot of marine life. For more fun and longer dives on the Canary Island La Palma we are having Enriched Air Nitrox for low prices and special offers for courses. Scuba dive courses and specialties of scuba diving courses (Padi Cmas Nob Bsac) from beginner up to instructor.
We are offering daily 2 or 3 guided dives, Discover Scuba Diving in the pool and the sea and all diving courses from absolut beginner up to instructor and as well courses for childs. We are accepting the diving licences of each international and national association, so that everybody has the possibility to dive with us.
As a diving school with hotel connection to the 4 star hotel Taburiente Playa and 3 * apartments Costa Salinas we have to disposal sanitary appliances as well as different pool plants for the dive training. And - the hotel area is in first sea situation in the heart of Los Cancajos.
Our diving courses are having worldwide well-known standards.
Our equipment of MARES and Cressi is always new and goes conform to the law. For the clean and dry breathing air we are having a new COLTRI-compressor. Your equipment is safty in our diving center. We are having a special room for your equipment and your private things.
20 years (world-wide) experience in the dive sport, about more than 8 years on the Canarian Islands, brings advantages for our customers. About more than 1,000 pupils of all levels of education trained by us, gave us their confidence already. Many of them are still today our customers.
We are training also dive instructors and we are a PADI Dive Center, CMAS Fit diving school and federation - office of the VIST in Spain. This obligates to keep us highest standards.
La Palma is a destination of volcanic origin and dive spots with bizzare walls, abysses, canyons, caves, tunnels, and grottoes with visibility up to 40 m. The flora and fauna below zero is rich of different species. The subtropical waters are inhabited by a great variety of fishes: moray eals, trumpetfishes, different kind of rays, groupers, barracudas and in summer even mantas, tuna and turtles. International dive courses on La Palma from beginner up to instructor.
Each course up to the PADI Open Water Diver or CMAS Bronce 1* starts for your own saftyness (in the winter heated) swimming pool. So you can learn really relaxed and you have more fun in the sea.
Fixed times for starting the course are not existing. Each course can start daily. About the expiration and the times we can speak individual with you, so that you are able to integrate all diving activities in your personal holiday plan.
We are accepting the diving licences of each international and national association, so that everybody has the possibility to dive with us.
Here on La Palma you can´t expected a very colorfull and lovely looking underwaterworld. The Atlantic Ocean is looking more rough and it is having a lot of character. It´ s not the Red or the Caribean Sea. But you can be sure that you will not be get disappointed...
Location description: The island La Palma lies in the west of the Canarian Islands, covering a surface area of 706 km2, and with the highest peak at 2.426 m. The island has a population of 80.000 inhabitants. The geographic position of the island is responsible for a mild dimate the whole year. On LaPalma is existing a great diversity of flora, a lot of it is only existing here and is having a scientific value. Tbe island`s fauna is also very intresting, with several amazing species of birds and insects. The green lung of the Isla bonita is biospheres - reservation and exists apart from orange and banana plantages. Typical for the island are large forests, volcanoes and mountain massives, which you can find especially on the east side of the island.
Vacation in Los Cancajos on the eastern side of La Palma
La Palma east side because traffic-favorable situation. The vacation begins with the landing of the airplane or creation of the ferry. Normally the airplanes are coming from the seaside, so that they are´nt disturbing. For daily trips, excursions and inspections around the island La Palma, Los Cancajos is a very good place with new and well developed road systems and good bus connections. The ideal junction for your enterprises. To the island capital Santa Cruz de La Palma you need only 5 to 10 minutes by car or by bus, also foot- well- attainable.

The subtropical climate of the eastern side, never coldly, rarely too hot, gives the whole year pleasantly warm weather.
The fine lava sand beach of Los Cancajos has 2 bays, which do not only permit with their fish wealth an interesting and a relaxed place to snorkel. It is protected by wavebreakers and also permit swimming and bathing for untrained ones and childrens. Directly on the beach is a playground for your childs. The beach has the desired blue flag and shows that the water quality, sanitary plants and rescue mechanisms are having the highest requirements.
Sport and spare time: Apart from the general island activities such as riding, biking, moving, kite - paraglider flies and tennis, Los Cancajos offers the most beautiful and most varied diving spots of the island.

Some of the hiking routes lead to a natural cove which invites the hiker for a refreshing bath. La Palma has a modern road network, with scheduled bus services linking all the villages on the island, the beaches and most beautiful spots!
