Company description Experience the best diving Gran Canaria has to offer with Scubasur Dive Centre. We are based in the beautiful resort of Anfi Del Mar and are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We offer all levels of courses, from open water to assistant instructor level as well as emergency first responder courses for divers and non-divers alike. Our instructors are all highly qualified and are fluent in several European languages including English, German, Dutch, French and Spanish
For more experienced divers we are able to offer a full range of dive trips from shallow wrecks (20m) to deep wrecks (46m) to Caverns to natural and artifical reefs. Whatever your fancy, we have it right here in Gran Canaria. For suitably qualified divers, we are able to offer nitrox (EAN 21-40%) at a days notice. Nitrox is especially suited to many of the shallower dives available on the coastline around Scubasur.
The exceptional climate enjoyed by Gran Canaria ensures perfect diving conditions all year round, with average sea temperatures being between 19c (winter) and 24c (summer). The temperate waters also encourage a wide range of sea creatures to make their home on one of the many lava reefs that make up the southern coastline. We often see large shoals of snapper, baracuda, rays and sometimes sea turtles. None of the sealife species are harmful but, as with all diving interaction with sea creatures, Scubasur promote a strict `look but do not touch` approach to our dive trips.

We are now qualified to teach diving on the Draeger Dolphin semi closed rebreather!
Location description: The best dive sites in Gran Canaria are all situated off-shore. Scubasur we want to ensure that you spend your time actually diving, not travelling to and from the dive sites. Our shop is right on the harbour and we have our own moorings so you leave the dive centre, step onto the boat and are swiftly whisked out to the dive site. The new boat (yellow!) is 7.4 metres long, is powered by an amazing 250 hp four stroke engine and is fully equipped with a VHF radio, Fishfinder, nautical GPS system and even comes with a ladder to help you back out of the water.
The maximum number of divers allowed on our boat, under Spanish law, is twelve.
