Company description After new ownership in 1995 the diving centre is now in its 12th year.
Relocation to new and modern promises in 1997 where all guests were warmly welcomed. During winter 2000/2001 and 2005/2006 I modernised and extended the centre again
I`m happy to offer you now a modern, practical and one off centre, which you will never find again. One of guests simply remarked: Cave-diving starts inside the centre.
After diving, we sit together on our big and sunny terrace, to drink a beer, discuss, what we have seen, meet new friends or just to have a chat.
Of course you can wash and dry all your equipment and wet suits and hang them on the hangers provided. Our large and spacious changing and totaly new styled storage room (see right side) provides ample space to store all your equipment in a plastic box which we’ll provide. If you want, use our pool to rinse off the salt after dives or just simply to relax for a while.
Dive trips
There are at least 2 half-day trips 7 days a week. This lets enthusiastic divers get in as many dives as they wish. Dive groups are small and relaxed each dive being to your own pace. No need to carry tanks. 2 minibuses and 2 boats, both with diving ladders, bring us in 5 - 15 minutes to our diving areas where there are exciting grottoes and cave systems, pre-aged reefs, overhangs or unforgettable underwater landscapes all of which are suitable for beginners as well as the more experienced.
It’s part of the dive centre philosophy to get together in the evening for an informal meal or just a few beers. New diver baptisms are always popular with no shortage of volunteers. Non-diving friends and partners are always welcome to join our fun evenings.
Training & education
Training and continuing education in small groups (max. 6 persons) with a lot of fun and follow the PADI-standards (OWD to Divemaster).
People who want to discover scuba diving to experience the underwater world for first time are very welcome guests. There are daily
Location description: We offer about 50 different destinations arround Cala Galdana.
Many areas have an average depth from 10-15m and, hence, are suitable also for beginners very well. But also experienced divers come at your expense. Many habitués who come year by year again here prove not least this. Of course there is a breefing before you start the dive. For the diving areas we have descriptions and drawings.
We ever offered 2 half day trips with our flying “yellow sossage” RIB.
However, since the season 2003 the boat, thanks to two more diligently english ``skin`` tailors, with new tubes dresses up in blue.
Exciting grottoes and caves, offshore reefs, overhangs and unforgettable under-water scenery await you. There is a lot to see and to explore around Cala Galdana! It takes between 5 and 15 minutes to reach the diving areas in our boat. When we have finished the dive we large purpose built dive ladders to board the boat safely and effortlessly.
If the weather is too bad to leave the harbour by boat, we use our minibuses to visit the beautiful northern side of the island, where we have many excellent dive sites accessible from the shore.
The typical Mediterranean climate is also to be found on the second largest island of the Balearics. Winters are mild and in summer its beautiful and warm with a gentle-cooling breeze. It’s no wonder that this island gets more and more popular. Minorca’s hills are covered by beautiful vegetation. Here you will find Cork oaks, pines and eucalyptus trees as well as palm trees.
Birds lovers will find their small paradise, with a little luck they’ll see very rare species, only found here on Minorca.
The beaches are surrounded by trees and are a wonderful contrast to the rocky coasts and are ideally suited for walkers and bikers and their friends.
The north and south coasts of the island are very special, offering an incredible variety of under water of marine life, amazing scenery, and breathtaking diversity.
You will never forget the charming scenery, the quiet beaches, the friendly people and the brilliant food! It’s impossible to become bored on the island, as there are so many things to see and to do.
