Company description The diving center BARAKUDA CLUB Tenerife, under the management of the state-approved diving instructor Heinz Scheffler, is located in Playa Paraiso, on the south west coast of Tenerife,
Playa Paraiso is a small urbanisation with 4 large hotels, as well as restaurants, bars, shops and an apartment complex in which you can also rent holiday apartments. Lying directly on the coast,
behind a small beach in a pretty cliff-lined bay, is a large sea-water pool.
The diving school is located at the entrance to the pool. This pool resort, called `` Lago Paraiso`` , is ideal for families and single people. There is a restaurant, descreet animation, a volleyball court and a small children`s playground, all surrounded by palm trees and subtropical plants which all help to ensure you have a relaxing holiday.
Diving excursions take place twice a day at 10 am and 3 pm all days excluding sunday. From the base you can reach the sea and 10 of the approximate 20 different diving areas with your equipment within about 2 minutes walk or 1 minute by minibus. Here, there are 3 large, rocky reefs of volcanic origin (17m to 30m deep) and a shalow bay (ideal for beginners - up to 15 m deep). You can reach the other diving areas by minibus which are usually 5 to 15 minutes away. Along the coast, after a maximum of 5 minutes snorkelling, you can dive in several reefs up to 35 m deep, or when the sea is calm, you can dive into small, shallow grottos.
All diving excursions (which on average last 45 to 65 minutes) are lead by diving instructors who know the areas well, in groups of a maximum of 5 or 6 divers of similar ability. You can observe a large variety of fauna in a varied underwater landscape which is formed of lava stone with overhangs, high rock faces, small caves, channels and adjoining sandbanks. The fauna includes natural sponges and large coloured anemone, various types of shrimps and crabs, moray eels, shoals of brace and reef perch, various types of shell fish, rays, octopus, barracudas, and many more. If you are lucky, you will see sharks, prickly mackerel, tuna, spiny lobster or even a sea horse.
On the relatively few days of bad weather around the diving base, you are driven to diving areas at other sections of the coast (30 to 60 minutes drive). On request, there is also a day trip with 2 diving excursions and a meal in a Canarian tapas bar.

Playa Paraiso is a quiet little tourist resort with everything on hand . Bars , restaurants, shops , supermarkets , satisfies every taste and hobby . There are 4 big hotels with animation programmes which everyone can join in if wished. Playa Paraiso lies directly on the coast with easy access to the sea .
Vista Nautica is situated at the bottom end of Playa Paraiso . The building was completed in 1994 and is crescent shaped a terraced in form . From the terraces one has direct sea views and au day sunshine.
Directly facing Vista Nautica is the ``Lago`` a beautiful seawater pool , 60 meters long , situated in gardens and trees. For children there is also a child pool and play area. The entrance to all these facilities is gratis for the guests of Vista Nautica .In front of the Lago bordering on the open sea is a quiet little lava beach . From the street there easy access.There one can swim in the open sea, or snorkel in a sheltered bay full of fish & underwater pleasures.
Tenerife offers something for everyone who wants to enjoy it . It has 4 different climatic zones , Mountains , Forests , Beaches ,and much more . To really explore the island one needs a car . We can supply it.
The complex ```` Vista Nautica ```` comprises of studios & apartments . The Studios for 1-2 persons. They consist of Living –Sleeping Room , Bathroom and a full equipped Kitchen & Terrace or Balcony . The Apartments are with 1 or 2 Bedrooms Living Room , Kitchen . Bathroom for 2 - max. 5 Persons. All Apartments are fully furnished , the Kitchen fully equipped, 1 Bathroom , Terraces or Balconies with marquises or sun shades . All the Terrace or Balcony have Sunshine all day long & great ocean views . All the Apartments have Sat TV .
The apartments are equipped with bed clothes and towels for the duration of your stay . Beach towels are NOT supplied . Baby cots & prams can be supplied if wished .
