Company description We are PADI qualified diving instructors based in the East Midlands area and our aim is to train people to become competent, safe divers in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere, to develop current divers` skills and for everyone to have fun!
If you have never dived before ... just come along and try it!
Find out what its like to float weightlessly through the water, with only your imagination limiting what its like to be a creature of the sea.........Come for a try-dive (Discover Scuba), when you discover just how amazing it is to breath underwater sign up for a course leading to an internationally recognised qualification.
If you have already learned the basics of diving why not come to us to develop your skills and extend your horizons? Learn to dive wrecks safely and avoid potential hazards, learn to dive to deeper depths, use a camera to capture some of the magic you experience. Develop your navigation skills so you can go further, discover more and get back again!! Train to night dive and see the incredible range of nocturnal aquatic animals, or learn to drift dive and float effortlessly over extensive reefs, shipwrecks or coral formations.
We teach in small groups and give you close, personal tuition. Our goal is to make you feel confident and for you to enjoy yourself with us, and we work hard to make this happen. As we teach only a few people at a time, you learn at a pace that suits you, and we can be flexible about timing and find out how you learn best. We can even offer male and female instruction!

Discover Scuba
If you`ve ever been curious about what its like to swim weightlessly underwater, without the worry of having to surface to breath, or if you have ever wanted to try scuba diving before committing yourself to a course, Discover Scuba is a great way to ``have a go``.
After a brief chat on the side of the poolyou are in the water well on the way to becoming an aquanaut and joining the ranks of Jacques Cousteau and all those other underwater explorers, all the time under the guidance and care of qualified instructors.
All equipment is provided, all you need to bring is a towel, a swimming costume and a big smile for afterwards.......
The cost for the Discover Scuba experience is £20.
Padi Open Water Course
Prior to the course starting you will carry out some self study from the open water crew pack. It is divided into five sections, with short quizzes and a knowledge review at the end of each section.
Following this we will have the first dive weekend!* During the morning we will follow up what you have learned with some classroom sessions, we will review and elaborate on what you have learned independently and clear up anything that you are unsure about. During the afternoons we will travel to a nearby swimming pool, and that`s where the fun really begins! During these Confined Water Dives you will apply dive principles, and learn and practise dive procedures and skills. By the end of the first weekend we all spend together, you will have completed a short exam, you will understand the principles of diving, and will be confident with the scuba gear and with swimming and coping underwater.
The cost of the PADI Open Water Course is £275 + Crewpack (£50). This covers all course materials, hire of equipment, entries to swimming pools, quarries etc. It does not include travel, overnight accommodation (if applicable), meals etc.
Location description: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
After the Adventure Diver certification there is the chance to become an Advanced Open Wate Diver. To do this you`ll have to complet the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and the Deep Adventure Dive plus three other Adventure dives (5 in total). You don`t have to do the Adventure Diver course first, you can move straight into the avanced programme.
As on the Open water dives, prior to carrying out any of the Adventure dives you will carry out some self study from the Adventures in Diving crepack. Each chapter is dedicated to one area of adventure diving, with short quizzes and a knowledge review at the end of each section.
Before each Adventure Dive we will review and elaborate on what you have learned independently and clear up anything that you are unsure about. Then the adventure and fun really begins.
As we always teach in small groups we have a great deal of flexibility to accommodate the way you learn, and to be able to spend time with you to ensure that you are confident. This course is performance based, you progress by meeting specific performance requirements, and we will work with you to help you to achieve all of these.
The cost of the Advanced Open Water Course is £185
PADI Medic First Aid
We offer the MFA Course as a basic first aid course covering cardiopulminary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care in a cohesive manner. By the end of the course you should be able to provide the patient with continuous care as he/she is passed from the first person on the scene (you) to the paramedics and finally to the physician in the emergency room.
The course is open to the lay-person, not just divers. It is a really useful course for giving everyone confidence to deal with emergencies in their day-to-day lives, at home or in the street.
The course involves some classroom work, with videos and discussion as well as lots of practical, hands-on experience. The course takes one day to complete. (Half day for renewals)
The cost of the PADI MFA Course is £65 including all manuals and training materials.
DAN Oxygen Provider Course
We offer this course to educate the general diving and non-diving public in recognising possible dive related injuries and providing emergency oxygen first aid whilst activating the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and/or arranging for evacuation to the nearest medical facility.
The cost of the DAN Oxygen Provider course is £40 including all manuals and training materials.
Divemaster Course
The PADI Divemaster Course is the entry-level certification to all professional levels in PADI diver training. PADI Divemasters assist Instructors with training student divers. They can supervise activities for certified divers, snorkellers and skin divers. As a divemaster you will actively influence the fun and safety divers enjoy during training and diving. It`s a responsible position, but it is also enriching, rewarding and enjoyable.
