Company description Bluewater Diving School was established in 1998 with our first dive centre in Greenhithe, Kent. Due to the popularity of the school, we have expanded to open a second dive centre based in Norwich, Norfolk.
At Bluewater Diving School, our aim is to create a safe and fun environment, where students can develop their knowledge and interest in scuba diving whilst gaining an awareness of environmental issues and concerns. We use the PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) system of education, which is the most widely recognised and respected diving certification in the world.
All of our instructors have been trained to the very highest standard by PADI. We also insist that our instructors and staff complete training days to keep up to date with new PADI standards. All of our instructors are professionals in their own field with independent incomes. This ensures that they are there for the students first and not for personal gain.

We offer a full range of PADI courses including the Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Adventure Diver, Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response, Master Scuba Diver and the professional level courses of Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and the IDC. We also offer a range of speciality courses. We want all our students to be assured that they are receiving the highest level of teaching from Bluewater Diving School. Whichever course you take, you will always be taught in a small group, you can learn at your own pace and courses can be tailor-made to suit your own schedule.
As well as the range of PADI courses on offer, we organise holidays and day trips and can provide divers advice on purchasing equipment. We also run a dive club, arranging social events, offering discounts on holidays and equipment and keeping members up to date with all the latest diving news.
Every year we organise diving holidays to top dive destinations all over the world such as the Maldives, Thailand, Red Sea, Malta, Indonesia, Malaysia and UK based trips such as those to Oban in Scotland. All our holidays are fully escorted and we always travel with the best tour operators and diving organisations to ensure that our holidays include the safest and most enjoyable diving available and the best accomodation, food and entertainment. We can also help you to arrange your own diving holiday, offering advice on the best deals and dive destinations.

PADI Open Water Diver
Course Outline and Benefits
This four day course is designed to train people with little or no experience of scuba diving, in the theory and practices of safe diving in a logical and realistic manner.
Prior to starting the course you will receive all the course materials, including the PADI Open Water Diver Manual.
Upon completion of the course you will be awarded the PADI Open Water Diver certification card, enabling you to dive almost anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 18 meters with another suitably qualified diver.
Advanced Open Water Certification
Course Outline and Benefits
This two day course is designed for those divers who already hold the PADI Open Water Qualification or equivalent.
Prior to starting the course you will receive all the course materials, including the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Manual.
Upon completion of the course you will be awarded the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification card, enabling you to dive almost anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 30 meters with another suitably qualified diver.
Emergency First Response Certification
Course Outline and Benefits
This one day course teaches basic first aid skills including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and emergency care in a cohesive manner.
The course is for students requiring Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation / first aid training to meet diving course requirements.

Course Outline and Benefits
This is the entry level for the professional diver training and is a stepping stone to the higher levels. You will learn how to conduct diving activities safely and review trained scuba divers skills.
Receive renumeration for conducting diving activities throughout the world. Be eligible for PADI benefits including discounted insurance and course materials.
Our Holidays
Our Indonesia holiday this year is to explore the seas off North Sulawesi.
It is said to be the greatest variety of marine life on the planet.
The dominating volcanic landscape creates a dramatic backdrop to the diving in North Sulawesi, which is one of the world`s most unique dive destinations.
The Lembeh Straits in North Sulawesi is renowned as being the planet`s epicentre of marine bio diversity. Lembeh`s nutrient rich waters are home to rare and mysterious marine species such as the pygmy seahorse, mimic octupus, ornate ghost pipefish, hairy frogfish, Ambon scorpionfish and stargazer.
Diving or snorkelling in Manado gives you the chance to see schooling fish such as tuna, barracuda, jacks and snapper. In Manado Bay, pods of dolphins and pilot whales are regularly seen. The dramatic blue water wall dives are packed with a huge variety of hard and soft coral, providing a natural aquarium.....a perfect habitat for a wide range of species
In contrast to the marine life, the Lembeh Straits are also the final resting place of a few WWII shipwrecks. In Manado there is 5 days boat diving which consists of 3 guided dives a day, lunch, tanks and weights. There is 10 dives in Lembeh Straits which includes guided boat dives, tanks and weights.
The accomodation is split between Tasik Ria Resort in Manado, Kungkungan Bay Resort in Kungkungan Bay and Allson Hotel in Singapore.
ungkungan Bay is a comfortable & remote resort, occupying an enviable position overlooking the Lembeh Straits. In harmony with the surrounding nature, Kungkungan Bay resort is built on a former coconut plantation with ocean views. Accomodation is full board excluding drinks. Other facilities include swimming pool & swim-up bar, over-water restaurant & bar, health spa including traditional massage & sauna.
The dominating volcanic landscape creates a dramatic backdrop to the world class diving available in North Sulawesi. Bunaken National Marine Park is one of the most bio-diverse marine environments in the world. The diving in and around Bunaken is mostly wall and drift diving, but also includes several beautiful coral slopes. In addition to the many pelagic species, there is an abundance of invertebrates and small marine life forms tucked away on the precipitous coral walls.
