Company description Our HQ is in Borneo and we have a European marketing office in Britain.
Our adventure activities include jungle and mountain trekking, mountain biking, rafting and diving. We employ our own fully trained and licensed adventure, birding and wildlife specialist guides. All our staff in Borneo are local people.
We build unique, environmentally sensitive, multi activity packages away from the usual, predictable tourist routes. We work with local communities and are committed to sustainable tourism development.
We provide complete adventure itineraries, ground handling services, expedition planning and logistics, including local accounting advise, incentive and team building programmes. This site will give you an overview of what we do and is designed as a shop window only.
Here you will find some fixed departures but generally we work with all our clients to provide whatever is required while they are in Borneo. Individual budget travellers, experienced jungle trekkers, cyclists and off-road mountain bikers, 5 star hotel honeymooners, photographers, bird watchers, schools, charities and multi-national companies needing film locations and complete logistical support are among our clients.
Tham Yau Kong, who heads the operation in Borneo, has been awarded Malaysia`s Best Tour Guide, Best Tour Programme and Best Tour Package Award. More on Tham, including pictures of recent expeditions within Borneo, can be found at www.thamyaukong.com.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about Borneo or ourselves and what we can provide. You can be assured of straight, honest `warts and all` answers.
EAST OF SABAH - Our basic tour: 8 days 7 nights. A 40 minute flight or 5 hours by road away from Kota Kinabalu is Sandakan, Sabahâ„–s second largest city, the former state capital from 1884 until the Japanese invasion in 1942. During the timber boom of the 60`s and the 70s, the city was once said to have contained the greatest concentration of millionaires in the world. Although still preserving some vestiges to the heady past Sandakan today has mellowed to a more sober period, acting as a market town for the growing agricultural spreads of the east coast.

Location description: We have three dive locations including world famous Sipadan
Pulau Sipadan Resort is ideally located to allow you to dive with ease and comfort at one of the top dive sites in the world.
Our Resort is on Sipadan Island and is right infront of the World Famous Wall Diving called ``DROP - OFF``. The name of Sipadan is simply legendary in diving circles, conjuring images of twirling tornados of barracudas and jacks, patrolling hammerhead sharks, millions of technicolored reef fish and, above all, dozens of sea turtles swimming peacefully everywhere. This description is not a far from reality : it might even actually downplay reality a little bit, as Sipadan is considered one of the the two or three top diving destination in the world. This small, rainforest-covered tropical island rising from a 700 meter abyss in the Celebes Sea is a destination the committed diver cannot miss. The Sipadan Island Dive Resort, one of a handful of operators allowed on this protected island, offers great food and comfortable accommodation in simple, beach-front chalets with attached bathrooms/hot shower, fan cooled and power points, with three boat dives a day, unlimited shore diving and not-to-be missed excursions to the nearby, very different dive sites of Kapalai.
Sipadan-Kapalai Dive Resort is located on the sea just fifteen minutes from Sipadan. It is a unique ``Water Village`` resort, offering guests excellent rooms and fantastic serenity of the surrounding sea, combined with first class macroworld diving around more than thirty dive sites.
A few minutes by boat from Sipadan but a full world away fromit lies the exhilarating Sipadan-Kapalai Dive Resort, sitting on its sturdy stilts on shallow sanbanks of the Ligitan Reefs. Planned and built in full style as an airy, comfortable, sunny water village with no land in sight - but boasting a mile-long sandbank of powdery blindingly white sand where one can suntan at complete leisure - the Resort offers great food, surprisingly roomy and elegant twin sharing wooden chalets with huge private balconies and attached bathrooms, and a couple of miles of walkways for those who like to take their morning jog while looking at thousands of fish just a few inches beneath their feet.
Diving around is exceedingly easy and shallow but quite spectacular : the sandy bottom and the sparse coral heads host an amazing array of small, often yet-to-be-classified, shamelessly colourful subjects, making the diving here an unforgettable experience for any discerning photographer. The Resort offers three dives a day plus, if requested, day trips at Sipadan & Mabul. Combine diving in Sipadan and the macro paradise of Kapalai .
Lankayan Island Dive Resort is a much acclaimed tropical island paradise resort offering everything from small number of guests, great beaches, superior rooms and food, and fantastic macroworld diving around
more than thirty dive sites, including two wrecks.
