Deep and Wide Diving is proud to be one of the first PADI 5 star IDC centres in the UK to be awarded ``PADI National Geographic Dive Centre`` status.
This award is only being granted to progressive PADI 5 star/Gold Palm resorts that excel in providing diver education programmes, retail equipment and experience opportunities, as well as promoting environmental awareness.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving (Try Dive). Never tried scuba before? Not sure if it`s for you? Come and have a go with one of our PADI Pros. You`ll experience the amazing sensations of weightlessness and of breathing under water in the safety of the pool. Once you decide its for you, We will take the cost of the Discover off the cost of your Open Water Course.
PADI Open Water Scuba Diver Course. The Padi open water course is the single most popular diving course in the world. It is your first step into the exciting undersea world of scuba diving. The course consists of a mixture of confined water dives (in a pool), actual diving in the open water and classroom sessions to learn the necessary theory.
PADI National Geographic Diver. As a National Geographic Diver, you join an elite group of explorers, adventurers and conservationists. The insight and training you gain during this program will broaden your awareness and take your diving skills to a new level. You`ll learn to observe and explore like an underwater scientist. Your experience begins with the PADI Open Water Diver program, enhanced with adventures unique to the National Geographic Diver program. You will learn to explore with detail, identify important underwater features and navigate with certainty. You will have the diving knowledge and practice to manoeuvre with poise along the reef ’s ecosystems.
Emergency First Response. This premium EFR Primary & Secondary Care course covers CPR and First Aid techniques as well as AED (Defibrillation). It can be completed in one day. This course fulfills the minimum requirement to take the PADI Rescue Diver, Dive master and Instructor courses as well as covering the requirement for HSE Appointed First Aider at Work.
PADI Rescue Diver. The PADI Rescue Diver will expand your knowledge and experience beyond purely recreational level because you`ll learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is a fun and enjoyable way to build your confidence.
PADI Specialities Dives How far will you take this diving thing? It`s up to you. With PADI Specialty Diver Programs you can chart your course for a colorful collection of awesome dives. Sure, your PADI certification opens up the oceans and lakes to you, but the PADI Specialty Dives take the underwater adventure to depths that will stir your soul. Achieving PADI Specialty ratings can take anywhere from as little as one day to a full weekend -but this is all hands-on, so you`ll be diving right from the start.
Master Scuba Diver Gain the top rating within recreational scuba diving, complete any 5 specialities, Rescue diver and have 50 logged dives and you will attain the top rating. Specialities

Location description: Our club
We charge no membership fee, we want the club to belong to the divers, not to us. We have no committee, so less time organising, more time diving. We would like you, as the divers to get involved in organising dives, so everyone gets a chance to do the dives they want to do. We want your club to be about diving, not about politics.
All agencies Welcome.
To join just turn up at the Miners Arms (2 Mytchett Rd) from 8.30pm on a Thursday evening. To hear about club events, add your name to the mailing list, and start joining in.
We will organise diving pretty much anywhere if there is a demand! Make a suggestion and we`ll endeavour to make it happen. Holidays happen at least twice a year, as well as UK orientation dives, and dives for the more experienced divers among you.
You get to go diving with like-minded people.
You are always welcome, and never left sitting on your own because your not part of
