Company description Dive & Sea the Hebrides` centre is accommodated in a converted school, a stones-throw from the shore. Situated adjacent to the jetty, launching, and moorings, it’s also an easy saunter to and stagger back from the Stein Inn, the best pub on the island, and 2 minutes walk to the local seafood restaurant.
The centres on-site facilities include accommodation, boat charter, compressor and air-bank, drying, changing and storerooms. Shorebased comfort is provided in fully modernised accommodation with facilities tailored to the needs of divers. You will relax and unwind in the homely comfort of excellent accommodation, guaranteeing a comfortable start and end to your exciting days diving. Modest comfort at a realistic price.
Established in 1986 on the shores of the north west coast of Skye, Dive & Sea the Hebrides’ offer full dive centre facilities enabling you to fully exploit the tremendous diving opportunities in the local coastal waters.
There are many spectacular dive-sites, where exposed west facing cliffs, dive into high-energy tidal waters with excellent visibility, and offer abundant diving opportunities. Dynamic underwater scenery boasts awesome scenic diving, historic wreck diving, large underwater pinnacles, wee caves and reefs, as well as drift and night diving.
The dive-sites, blanketed in a kaleidoscope of vibrant colour are sustained by rich, clean oceanic currents, which bring a unique abundance and profusion of marine species. This exhilarating diving experience, with no queues at the shot-line means the dive site really is all yours to escape to!
Often accompanied to the dive site by porpoise and dolphin, a glimpse of a whale or basking shark makes an even more special day. Remote yet accessible, the
Location description: A kaleidoscope of marine species populates the Hebridean Minch, a mixing pot for oceanic currents. Clear and unpolluted, these waters host and sustain a rich, abundance of marine creatures set in excellent visibility. Presenting a largely unexplored photographer`s dream those without a camera also have plenty to discover.

Below the waves, the wrecks and rocky crevices spotlight with beams of sunlight are host to peaking beady eyed crustaceans, swift shy octopus, blankets of brightly coloured soft corals, wrasse, pollock, conger, dogfish, angler, ling and many more concealed in caves, chimneys and crevices.
Dogfish cruise the gently swaying kelp guiding divers around their world. Imagine a 3m propeller encrusted in colour, spotlight by sun stabbing through the water as silver fish shoal in shimmering colour.
Wrecks of the SS Chadwick, SS Doris, SS Urlana and HMS Port Napier, our regular destinations, feature fully below.
`Conger Crevice`, described as a conveyor belt of life will simply amaze you, where conger eel, lobster and ling cram into the crevice while jewel anemones in vibrant pink, green and purple makes this site awesome.
