Company description DiverCity is your one-stop dive centre. You can go from complete beginner to a fully-fledged professional diver with us. PADI certificates are recognised all over the world, so the next time you`re on holiday wondering what`s beneath the clear blue sea ...you could see for yourself!
If you`re unsure why not have a try dive, where you`ll take your first underwater breaths under the direct supervision of one of our instructors. The next step is the PADI Open Water Diver (OWD) course. With this completed, YOU ARE A DIVER! If you don`t fancy diving in our wonderful British waters ask about our referral course, do all the classroom and pool sessions with us and finish your dives at the destination of your choice.
There are plenty more challenging courses beyond this which, ultimately, could even lead you to an exciting new career. We have everything that divers need - we hire, sell and service all types of diving equipment. We also organise holidays within the UK and worldwide (Divercity was the first dive centre to ice dive at the exact Geographical North Pole, see `Mega Dives` in the holiday section).

Try Diving For £20!
We arrange try-dives at local swimming pools in Beds, Bucks & Herts on evenings and weekends. Just bring yourself, your shorts/swimming costume, a towel and a T-shirt. We`ll lend you the equipment and show you how to breathe underwater, all under the supervision of our staff instructors. After the diving you can then download the photos we`ve taken of you from our gallery page, we`ll show you how.
You`ll learn some skills that will give you a head start for your first training certificate: the PADI Open Water Diver (OWD). You need to be at least 12 years old (for those under 12 see our `Seal Team` section under `Training`) and there is a brief medical questionnaire to complete which you can download at `Divercity Downloads` under `Try Dive Paperwork` in the Useful Tools section (if you don`t have adobe pdf reader you can download it from the useful tools section). If you have any concerns, talk them through with us when you book.

Shark Dive - Ellesmere Port

No matter how many dives you log, an experienced diver knows that a shark encounter is the big one!. At the Blue Planet Aquarium you can achieve your ambition and test your nerve eyeballing monster sharks! At 10ft long and weighing 26 stone, don`t let them out of your sight! You must be at least an Open Water Diver and have had logged a dive within 6 months of this great experience. You must also complete a medical questionnaire prior to the dive. We will supply a van to take all your kit up (or any you have to rent) and the trip will be accompanied by a Divercity Instructor. After the dive you may wish to drive back or have a night out in Liverpool, we`ll look after your kit.
There are only 11 spaces available so it`s first come first serve; payment in full can be taken over the phone if you can`t make it into the centre and cheques should be made payable to the `Divercity Club`. Spectators are welcomed for a small admission fee.
HMS Scylla & James Eagan

These two fantastic wrecks are just offshore Looe and a divers paradise with a max depth of 25m. We`ve rented two connected apartments for everyone to stay in right next to the departure point. We’ll be looked after by Looe Divers who will escort us in the hard boat `Morning Glory`. The price will be £150 per person, 2 dives/day incl air, weights and accommodation.
Minimum requirement is Advanced open water with Wreck diver speciality a recommendation. If you would like to complete these courses prior to the trip we will be happy to schedule an itinerary.
Conwy, N.Wales

Conwy’s coastline has a great deal of diving to suit all levels. The area contains numerous wrecks ranging from modern day trawlers through to WWII cargo steamers, all offering some excellent diving. Once you have had your fill of wrecks why not come back in and dive with the seals on Puffin Island for an unforgettable second dive experience.
Minimum requirement is Advanced open water with Wreck diver speciality a recommendation. If you would like to complete these courses prior to the trip we will be happy to schedule an itinerary.
Capernwray, Lancs.

As coastal diving can be a bit hit and miss in March we`ve organised a trip to this inland site to blow away the diving cobwebs. There`s great viz and plenty of sunken goodies to amuse. If you haven`t been before the registry fee is £7.50 and then £10/day entry. The price includes a £10 subsidy to pay for a van and petrol to take up kit and £40 for two nights accommodation.
Scapa Flow

Dive the German fleet, arguably the best wreck diving in the world, picturesque scenery, good visibility. Trip includes 5 nights accommodation (B&massiveB basis) on board the boat, 4 days diving, diving tanks, air & weights.
Wreck and Deep Specialities and experience required.
We will be diving with Skipper Mervyn on the Bouteous Sea, a fantastic boat with plenty of room.
