We are Sheffield`s longest established dive centre and the only PADI 5 star dive centre in the central Sheffield area
Quite simply we offer the best quality and value scuba diver training available. We also offer a wide range of equipment through the national Mikes Waterfront franchise and run lots a dive trips both in and around the UK and Internationally.

Diveworld - is based in central Sheffield and is owned and run by qualified PADI diving instructors who love to go diving!
We offer scuba equipment for sale and hire, air fills, and PADI training courses for all levels of ability.
If you`re a beginner then try our Discover Scuba experience or sign up for an Open Water diving course.
For qualified divers we offer a range of speciality courses that will help you improve your scuba diving and increase your experience.
Learning to Scuba Dive - All the scuba diving training at Diveworld is staffed and supervised by fully qualified PADI diving instructors supported by helpful and enthusiastic dive masters. Our classroom facilities are located at the Dive Centre on Dykes Hall Road, Hillsborough, Sheffield and we use local swimming pools for all the confined water diving activities.
Diveworld - Dive Club
We have an active dive club which is completely free to join. Just drop us and email and we`ll
add you to our mailing list.
We run a club diving night each month at the Ponds Forge Swimming Pool using the 5m diving
pool so there`s plenty of room to practice skills and have some fun. All our instructors are there
so we`ll help you out if you`re not sure about anything. We get in the water at 8:30pm so you`ll
need to arrive around 8pm.
Costs are £15 if you need full kit, £10 if you need just a tank and £5 if you have all your own kit.
Check the calendar for dates but it`s usually the second Monday of each month!
After we`ve finished at the pool (9:30pm) it`s across the road to the local pub for a chat and to
discuss plans for future trips and other events.
Brief information about courses we offer:
Discover Scuba Diving - Discover the world of diving in the safety of a local swimming pool with full qualified PADI instructors. You`ll get to spend around 1 hour in the pool after you`ve spent a little time beforehand getting familiar with your equipment etc. Take your first steps for just £15 (refundable against the cost of an open water course).
PADI Open Water Diver - Have fun learning skills that will make your diving safe and enjoyable. After successful completion of this course you will receive an internationally recognised PADI Open Water certification which will allow you to rent scuba diving equipment, and dive without an instructor present. This course is divided into three parts: classroom, pool and four open water dives.

Adventure Diver - Once you`ve completed your Open Water qualification you can expand your diving experience by doing some Adventure dives with us. Try underwater photography, a deep dive to 30 metres, a night dive or have a go with a Diver Propulsion Vehicle. This really is great fun! Specialty Dives - Once you start to find out what types of diving you like to do the PADI Specialty Diver courses give you the right background and experience to get you started. Courses typically include background materials, a small amount of classroom time and two to four open water dives. Choose from wreck diving, night diving, deep diving, underwater photography, search and recover, ice diving, boat diving, enriched air diving, drift diving, dry suit diving, multilevel diving, underwater nature and more.

You can complete this course in two days or better still do it while you`re on a dive trip with us.

Advanced Open Water Course - £175
DAN Oxygen Provider- You`ll learn about dive accidents and how to use oxygen during first aid procedures. You`ll also learn some fundamentals of dive accidet recognition, response, and management. This is a great programme that all divers should completed. The course takes around half a day and normally runs on Sundays alongside the EFR course
Emergency First Response Course - £55
Rescue Diver- Serious fun! You`ll learn a host of skills in a very practical environment. This course is demanding and challenging and most people remember this as one of the most rewarding courses they ever done.
Rescue Diver Course - £175
Master Scuba Diver - This is the highest nonprofessional rating in recreational diving. Master Scuba Diver means that you`ve developed your skills and experience in a broad range of dive activities and environments. You`ll have achieved Advanced Open Water, and Rescue Diver qualifications along with Specilaties in five areas.
