Company description European Diving Centre was established in 1989 and over the years many diving centres have tried to emulate our high standards - even copying our name!!
Our aim is to ensure you receive SO MUCH MORE from your diving by providing quality diving and diver training available to you everyday of the year, adhering to the highest safety standards, offering excellent value for money and plenty of fun in our friendly atmosphere.
EDC is proud of its reputation for quality and safety which is maintained by rigorous equipment testing and maintenance to European standards, regular staff training, excellent customer service and our attention to detail to make your diving day run as smoothly as possible.
Our friendly, professional and multi-lingual staff ensure a fun packed, relaxed, safe diving experience so you can just sit back and take it easy until we arrive at our wide variety of dive sites!

Over the years European Diving Centre has been a leader in the diving industry. Keeping standards high and yet striving to raise the bar even futher. All our centres run to European and British Standards despite their locations.
The majority of our divers are British and we decided we need to offer a service that most other dive centres dont. So EDC Pursuits Ltd was born . A British company that offers you all the information about all our dive centres from people who know and work in the centres abroad. They know the local area, how the dive centres operate and can give first hand advice and knowledge.You want to know that you are choosing a good dive centre for yourself, your club or your family for you next dive trip. You search the web and have to trust the dive centres website. You pay your money in advance and if you dont get what they promised there is very little you can do because they are based abroad.
By booking your diving with EDC Pursuits Ltd your booking is made in the UK under UK trading standards regulations so you have the same rights as you would if the dive centre were based in the UK.
We know you have questions and queries and sometimes you want to talk to a real person rather than email, and phoning abroad is both expensive and inconvenient. Now you can speak to someone in the UK!
If you want to send something to us or we need to send something to you from abroad this is unreliable and often takes weeks to arrive. Now you can correspond with our UK office!
We have a diving club. The EDC Dive Club was started in 2004 as a way to reward our loyal divers by giving them discounts off their diving. We also recognised that some times of the year are busier than others so we decided you needed an incentive to come diving without the crowds.
So whether you have questions or need advice, need training materials, want travel recommendations or would like us to visit your club - do not hesitate to contact us.

A dive liveaboard on the CARLTON is the ultimate way to enjoy and experience the natural beauty of the RED SEA, discover the best in liveaboard with a remarkable difference! Our luxurious yacht was custom designed and built to provide exceptional sailing comfort and stability, hassle free diving and the power to provide 12 knots of speed when needed. This extra capability along with your captains years of experience expands the cruising range of your holiday, allowing you the opportunity to enjoy your liveaboard holiday like a yacht owner!
The CARLTON is a 29 meter Pleasure Motor Yacht with a capacity of 31 passengers, although we limit it to a maximum of 20 passengers to ensure your comfort and relaxation. The CARLTON cruising experience is enhanced by ample deck space where we invite you to relax in the sun and sea before getting ready for diving. Our highest priority is the safety and well being of our passengers and crew and to ensure everybody has an enjoyable trip. The CARLTON is equipped with everything you need to create a perfect holiday. Our aim is to exceed your expectations.
The Carltons main salon with beautiful panoramic view is perfect for relaxing, entertaining or enjoying the superb meals prepared by the chef. The comfortable spacious dining room is fully air-conditioned with TV/Video/DVD/Sound System. The Bar offers modern design finished in wood & marble equipped with fridge, coffee maker and an open buffet area.
A relaxed, friendly atmosphere is complimented by 9 deluxe double rooms and 1 Master suite all offering private bathroom and air-conditioning. All rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything necessary for a good nights sleep. En-suite bathrooms include a washbasin, shower with hot and cold water and home style toilet (towels, soap, toiletries, covers and double sheets are included).
Our professional crew and guides will ensure an effortless diving holiday.
Unlike most Red Sea Liveaboards the CARLTON has a licence to explore the whole of the Red Sea. This means you can visit all the famous sites including Ras Mohammed, Thistlegorm, Straits of Gobal, Daedalus Reef, The Brothers and Elphinstone Reef all from one boat.
