Company description The London School of Diving is a state of the art PADI 5 Star facility with on-site 3 metre deep pool.
At London School of Diving we offer high quality scuba instruction
from entry level courses through to instructor level training.
Training is carried out in our custom built dive facility. This includes our
on-site heated swimming pool and state of the art classroom facilities.
Join us on one of our Club LSD `Let`s Dive` weekends, designed especially for people who are new to UK diving.
The diving is in Portland Harbour and in-shore sites around Portland island, where there are plenty of wrecks and rocky reefs to keep us all amused for several weekends!
Some of PSAI courses:
*Advanced Deep Air Level 1 (30 metres)
The Advanced Deep Air Level 1 course is intended to introduce the basic recreational diver to extended range recreational diving (ERRD). PSA has found a great divide between basic recreational diving and ERRD, and as such this course is aimed to gently introduce the diver to the philosophy’s and techniques of ERRD. During the course you will be trained in equipment configuration, gas management, Decompression illness and sickness, Inert gas narcosis, ERRD procedures and safety guidelines and the use of the PSA training slate. You will find this course very different to what you have been taught so far but will soon realise that with the correct training and discipline you will be able to plan and execute ERRD with complete safety.
*Advanced Deep Air Level 2 (40 metres)
Advanced Deep Air Level 2 will introduce you to a more in depth look at inert gas narcosis, diving physics and pressure related maladies. Equipment configuration involving large volume single cylinders and redundant alternative air supplies. You would have already been introduced to the PSA training slate for underwater skills (unless level 1 was skipped, ask for details). You will be assessed on your dive awareness and ability to control a dive profile. You will be trained further in dive planning and management and be introduced to the

*Dahab 7th to 14th May

Join LSD on this amazing trip to some of the world’s most interesting Red Sea wrecks.
You will be staying aboard the M.V Whirwind, a stunning brand new yacht which caters for 20 divers, in twin cabins with ensuite facilities and can supply nitrox up to 100%. These famous dive sites including the Carnatic and the Thistlegorm are still some of the most sought after dive sites in the Red Sea.
Borneo
SIX DAYS DIVING THE FAMOUS REEFS AND WALLS OF SIPADAN, MABUL AND KAPALAI.

ONCE WE LEAVE MABUL WE TRAVEL UP THE KINABATANGAN RIVER BY MOTOR BOAT WATCHING THE PROBOSCIS MONKEYS BEFORE STAYING OVERNIGHT IN THE HEART OF THE NATIONAL PARK AT THE SUKAU RAINFOREST LODGE.
ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS TRIP MUST BE FEEDING TIME AT THE SEPILOK ORANG-UTAN SANCTUARY BEFORE FLYING HOME.
*Red Sea
COME AND WASH AWAY THOSE JANUARY BLUES IN THE BEAUTIFUL WATERS OF THE RED SEA. YOU WILL BE STAYING AT THE EDEN ROCK HOTEL IN THE FAMOUS RED SEA RESORT OF NAAMA BAY. THIS HOTEL HAS FANTASTIC VIEWS RIGHT ACROSS THE SINAI AND IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED CLOSE TO THE MARINA AND ONLY A SHORT STROLL ALONG THE BAY TO ALL SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS.
