Looe Divers Club is open to divers from all different training agencies (PADI, BSAC, SAA, IANTD etc). The aim of the club is to dive, meet new dive buddies, participate in our Club Holidays and have a good time at the social events organised throughout the year in our social calendar.

The development of our Dive Team in Looe Divers and the Training Team in Triton Dive will be critical to our success.
Looe Divers` service centre comprises three workshops for equipment repair and maintenance, including regulators, buoyancy compensators, cylinders, dry suits etc. All service technicians are qualified, experienced and competent.

Looe Divers has the following equipment available for rental if you are diving with Looe Divers i.e. from one of the boats booked through Looe Divers or on a training course with Triton Dive.
Proof of certification will be required as well as a credit card or cash deposit, refundable when equipment is returned undamaged.
Daily rental charges are as follows:
BCD - £10
Regulator c/w octopus & Instrument console - £10
Cylinder (rented out full with air) - £10. Nitrox Cylinder - £10 + Nitrox fill
5mm Titanium lined semi-dry wetsuit £15
Weight Belt - £6
Fins - £6
Dry Suit - £30 (including woolly bear) - Proof of formal dry suit training and sea dry suit diving experience required e.g. PADI Dry Suit Specialty. If you do not have proof of formal dry suit training, then we are unable to rent you a dry suit, however we can offer you a semi-dry suit for rental.

Location description: Looe is a thriving fishing port and popular tourist resort, in South East Cornwall, just over an hours drive past Exeter. Looe is a tranquil Cornish fishing town with a maritime history. The town boasts a wealth of attractions including a fishing museum, pleasure boat rentals, chandleries, water sports, golf clubs, The Discovery Centre and the Monkey Sanctuary, to name just a few. Other attractions in the vicinity include the Moors, an Adventure Park and a Quad Bike Centre. Speed boat trips can be taken around Looe Bay as well as angling trips and visits to Looe Island.
The centre occupies 3,500 sq feet of showroom premises, in full view of Looe Bay and St George’s Island, on the Cornish Riviera.
Looe is served by a whole range of restaurants including `A Le Carte`, Specialised Sea Food restaurants (local fresh catches), Inns with restaurants and bar meals, Indian restaurant, Chinese, Mexican, Pizza and of course `Fish & Chips`. The `back streets` of East Looe take you back in time and host a selection of quaint restaurants.

Looe is served by rail, with a link from the main line station in Liskeard. There are a large number of taxi firms who are able to offer transfers to and from your selected accommodation. For those traveling by road, Looe is signposted from Plymouth and you are free to park in the centre’s car park.
For those of you bringing down your own RIBs, there is a launching slip at the Millpool car park in West Looe. Cars and trailers can park right next to the slip. There is an average window around High Tide of 6 hours. There is a beach at Millendreath, one mile East of Looe, where you can retrieve your RIB if you miss the tide.

Enrol on one of our Discover Local Diving programs. If this is your first sea dive in the UK then Looe Divers recommend an orientation from shore. The purpose is to get you familiar with entry / exit techniques, fine tune your weight system and orient you to a local site and it`s marine life.
Duration: minimum of 1 dive.
Pre-requisite: PADI Open Water Diver.
Equipment required: Full personal diving equipment or may be rented
MINIMUM AGE:15
Participant Price:£45
Scheduling: Looe Divers` conform to the H.S.E. Recreational Diving A.C.o.P. and as such operate a minimum of a 3 man dive team. Therefore our Guided Dives are offered when we have Diver Training courses in operation. During the summer season we regularly offer guided dives.
Unfortunately it is financially unviable to offer guided dives one-to-one on an ad-hoc basis. In this instance we would recommend enrolling on a continuing education course e.g. National Geographic Diver Portal - see below.
