Company description Orca Diving Centre has been established since 1994 and in 12 years has grown from hiring a classroom in our local Leisure Centre to owning our own dive centre. The dive centre has now been open for four years and is going from strength to strength. We are proud to announce that we have now been credited with the prestigious PADI 5 Star Rating. 2006 is looking even more exciting with plans to expand the dive centre to the coast. This we have achieved with the purchase of Rivendell. Our purpose built 9 bedroom Guest House.
We are currently service agents for, see link and looking to also expand this to other manufacturers.
We can boast the fact that we have 5 Instructors, 5 Assistant Instructors, male and female working and a number of Divemasters. For the centre with a diverse range of experience and diving interests to offer students.
Orca Diving Centre has run the largest Try Dive (Discover Scuba) event in the UK to date at an extreme sports weekend with over 1200 try dives and on January 14/16th 2005 at the Travel and Adventure Show over 140 Try Divers went through our pool ALL completing the PADI Discover Scuba Course.For booking visit our diary page.
We have worked for the BBC 999 program and Out and About, to name but a few.
Try Scuba Diving For the first time, get advise on how to get started or book your training course, if you are already a seasoned diver why not book your next diving holiday and continue your adventure. We also have a popular dive club which has many social days and nights out i.e. Beach BBQ’s, fishing trips, clay pigon shooting and quiz nights as well as a monthly news letter and social meetings. Orca Diving Centre has now grown and expanded its training to include all aspects of recreational and technical diving. We are able to supply a full range of diving and snorkelling equipment from our shop.


Orca Diving Centre has a dedicated Diving Club for all levels of diver from open water novice, to advanced technical divers. With regular dive trips at home and abroad as well as non-diving events for family and friends. We offer a discount on training and equipment to all our club members; also a subsidised pool night is available for testing out that new bit of kit or just brushing up on skills.

A trip to the Red Sea is on the beautiful new boat MY Inifinity. Sailing out of Hurghada taking in all the usual sites and a few extras. The trip is all inclusive of flights return LGW. Meals, soft drinks, weights tanks and air, kit hire and visa will be extra and any further training that you wish to do.
This trip is geared to experienced divers wishing to improve both skill and confidence and also further you training ability, which is why we have two of our full time instructors with you at all times while diving or training.
The cost is £840.00 per person and we only have limited space left. For further details please contact the dive centre.
The Red Sea and Sudan are ideal places for a scuba diving holiday. Thousands of kilometres of coastline are blessed with extensive reef formations and islands. The underwater scenery is rich with coral-covered walls and beautiful ``gardens``; perfect for your diving holiday. Over 400 varieties of coral and 1500 species of fish, turtle and shark make the Red Sea and Sudan their home.
We are also very honoured to have along with us Maria Munn of Ocean Visions our good friend and Club Member, Maria will be able to help with any of those photo shop questions you have. This will be a fantastic opportunity for any one wishing to do there Photography or Videographer Speciality!
