At Shark Scuba our philosophy is to train you to be an independent diver and to keep you diving, to this end we arrange numerous dive trips both here in the UK and abroad.
We teach a wide variety of people to dive, many retired people take up the sport now that they have more spare time on their hands, ladies aged between 18 to 60 who want to do something for themselves, single people and couples of all ages. We also specialise in teaching families to dive with the minimum age limit of 10 years.
We are dedicated to ensuring that you are happy and if we feel that you require more training after your course finishes we will offer you more dates for practice and assistance
If you want to learn to dive, continue diving and enjoy the great social life that comes with diving with Shark Scuba then we are the school for you. Divers already holding a dive certification are most welcome on our dive trips and holidays.
We have now moved to larger premises, you can still expect the same friendly advice and service and an even wider selection to choose from, onsite air fills to 300 bar and professional regulator servicing and tank inspections both visual and hydrostatic.

Swimming and snorkeling equipment plus one of the largest selections of wetsuits in Essex & Suffolk are also available. We specialise in teaching families and for family groups of 5 or more we will run exclusive classes at one of our many teaching locations.

Stoney Cove
Situated in Stoney Stanton - Leicestershire this is an excellent training site and is also ideal for tuning up skills or just enjoying a days diving. With friendly and helpful staff, and numerous underwater sites to be visited with varying depths to suit just about every level of experience. The visibility has been very good every time we have visited this year. If you can manage it midweek is an excellent time to visit as it doesn`t tend to get too busy!
Gildenburgh
Situated in Whittlesey just outside of Peterborough, Gildenburgh is a great place to complete your training dives or just enjoy a day out diving, there is plently to see under the water, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Visibility is restricted sometimes during the summer months when the algae bloom is high, but there are a series of guide ropes to help you find your way around.
Capenwray
The diving centre at Capernwray has been in existence since 1995 and has witnessed considerable growth and change in that time. In 2002, the opening of the clubhouse signalled a new chapter in the development of the Centre. Built on two levels, the ground floor features a restaurant and licensed bar whilst the first floor houses the conference room, together with a huge private terrace overlooking the diver`s entry to the water.
