Company description Scuba Diving Training with ASAC BSAC Diver Grades
Alsager Sub-Aqua Club (ASAC) is a branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) which is the largest scuba diving organisation in the UK.
The club is based in the South Cheshire/North Staffordshire area and was established in 1976. We meet at Alsager Leisure Centre on Thursday evenings.
Lectures are held when required from 8-9pm, pool sessions from 9-10pm, and from 10pm onwards, most members can be found in the bar!
The club is ideally based for easy access to the North Wales coast and many top inland sites. As well as meeting weekly on a social basis, we also dive most weekends.
Diving destinations extend from Scotland to Cornwall and from North Wales to Yorkshire, plus inland sites, and the occasional holiday jaunt overseas.
CLUB FACILITIES - We have a range of club equipment including:
5m Osprey RIB with Mariner 75 hp engine, GPS and depth sounder - Bauer air compressor
First Aid and oxygen equipment - Aqualungs for use in training
Alsager Sub-Aqua Club is BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club) Branch number 887. Although based in Cheshire, quite some way from the sea, we dive all year round, at a wide variety of sites around the UK.
Through this site we hope to give you information about our club, our club members, the training we can provide you with, and the diving we do.
Location description: Joining the club
If you have never tried scuba diving before, we recommend your first step is to contact us to arrange a try-dive at the pool on a club night. Only ten pounds (refundable on joining) From there, we can assess how you get on, and whether learning with a club is the right way for you to go. Next steps then involve getting a medical, filling in an application form, and giving the Treasurer some money!
