Company description Ashford Dive Club welcomes safe divers with any appropriate diving qualifications.
We are based in Ashford, Kent in the UK.
Ashford Dive Club promotes and develops safe, environmentally aware and archaeologically responsible sub-aqua diving.
We have regular club meetings and various social events. You can meet local divers who are glad be an underwater buddy. At club meetings we arrange competitions and guest talks about diving and underwater life. We have an annual club dive holiday, usually somewhere in the UK.
We do not provide training or equipment hire in the club but some club members are instructors. We are also glad to recommend good local dive centres. The club is not affliated with any particular training agency.
We produce an annual calender from our photography competition entries.
If you feel like joining or are considering this option, please come along to our next club meeting. Attendance at one club meeting is free for non-members.
The aim of the Ashford Dive Club is to promote and develop safe, environmentally aware and archaeologically responsible sub-aqua diving.
The club arranges a regular annual dinner dance just before Christmas. Awards for serious and non-serious categories are awarded.
For example, September saw the club undertake a beach clean at Shakespeare Beach, Dover and the top five most prolific things we found were: Plastic pieces
Location description: Our Membership Rules:
1. Membership is open to all divers or otherwise over the age of 10 regardless of colour, class, creed, disability, gender or dive training agency if any or none
2. I understand that Scuba Diving is a potentially hazardous sport with inherent risks and accept these risks of my own free will and volition.
3. I further save and hold harmless any member of the Ashford Dive Club (ADC), or its representatives and release these parties from any claim or lawsuit by me, my family, estate, heirs or assignees arising out of my participating in any Ashford Dive Club activity.
4. While partaking in any excursions organised by the Ashford Dive Club, I will behave in a professional manner that will not bring the Ashford Dive Club into disrepute. I will conduct any dives undertaken under the auspices of the Ashford Dive Club according to the Codes of Conduct as laid down by the Ashford Dive Club. I understand that the committee of the Ashford Dive Club may terminate my membership at any point, without refund upon a breech of the stated conditions of the Clubs
